Waited until today as my wife and son have covid and I did something to my neck while sleeping, which was causing spasms. Last few days have sucked. Brutal bolt! bruce1337 Posted June 11, 2022 Share Posted June 11, 2022 16mm x 25" HRS (Grade 300) finally finished over multiple sessions. This grade is supposedly harder than S235 and A36. Even harder than S275 according to its data sheet. But I will not claim anything until I bend some rated steel to compare. Until then I will take this PR as a win and move to my next target. Bent a 16mm 20” of s275 that Horne has rated to 309k. I feel I have more in the tank. I have got one more of these that I think I can cut to 18.5”. 18” might aldo work but that would be too much of a risk. I’m fairly certain I should be able to get it at 18.5” and that should give ig a rating of 330-340. If you go heavier on the wraps you will definitely get it since you wobbled it with double cordura.
