Ounces turn into pounds Eric. Keep lifting them!

I love that!

It's all about thinking long term.

At least you logged a set where you were doing one of the manliest lifts out there on that 10,000th post!

..... I didn't notice any tricep kickbacks

Do you do any direct triceps work? Just curious because of the curls (which are strong btw like someone pointed out already!)

Thanks! But no, I haven't done push downs or French curls or anything like that in forever. Just close grip bench.

Deadlift

497x4

406x8 (no belt)

Barbell Row

288x8

I'm going to put a little weight back on for a meet on the 20th of next month. I've lost 12 pounds in the last 5 weeks or so. Cutting for 205 does not sound too appealing, especially in the winter months.

Squat

421x3

377x6

Bench

263x5

237x8

Felt a little something in my left bicep with my first rep on curls, so dropped way down for a set of 8. Probably a left over unrealized niggle from arm wrestling

Probably not enough room under your hide for your pipes to grow

Lol. Yeah, it's usually about two weeks after when I discover I did something bad arm wrestling.

519x3 :O Crazy strong Eric!

Thank you, Jon! I have a meet on the 20th so I'm hoping to bump up that number by at least another 30 pounds.

What are your goals for this meet? Have you picked your attempts yet? :)

I haven't picked attempts yet, but I would like to total at least 1410 and squat over 500. My shoulder is still holding back my bench.

Squat

436x3

385x6

Bench

274x3

248x7

Then curls.

Strong stuff!

Eric when you deadlift do you do touch'n go reps or deadstop reps? And why do you prefer to do it that way? Opinions seem to vary wildly on that subject. Seen some very strong people do touch'n go reps, but a lot of 'experts' seem to prefer deadstop reps.

Thank you! I can do more reps, of course, with touch and go, but I feel like I would be cheating myself a bit when it came time to test a max from the floor. Not that the advantage is all that significant doing it this way, for me personally, but I think it's real.
