Electron
All in all I think I missed 300# 4 or 5 times over 3 sessions. I always get stuck just below or above the knees, I think me and Eric have the same sticking point. I'm planning to start again and ride it out while eating more. I'd like to get 350. That would be a good axle too.

Ivarboneless
Strange. I guess people have different sticking points. If I get the weight off the floor very much, I'll get the lift. I can't imagine getting stuck above the knees.

Electron
Been slacking off. Here's an update: Today marks the first day of my self-imposed Handstand Challenge. My goal is to master the handstand and top start working on more difficult variations. By 9/10, I'd like to be able to hold 15sec handstands at command. My long term goals are OAHS, chair illusion, and HSPU. I arm wrestled with the local crew yesterday. Haven't pulled in a while, and grip is more important to me, but I had a blast. Held a OAC isometric for about 30sec, and did front lever practice. Also closed my HG300(135#) from MMS righty. My pulling muscles are very sore. Gotta go squat soon.
jvance
Outstanding work! Ill be gym less soon so BW stuff will take center stage till we get to tx. Maybe it'll help me shred off 6 lbs for contest weight. Bodyweight/strength ratio is my biggest general focus right now.
Electron
Sweet. I'm likely focusing on bodyweight movements next year. I held a few 15 sec on paralletes, and am getting stronger on the ground too.

Electron
For anybody on reddit, I'm doing an AMA here about grip training. http://www.reddit.com/r/GripTraining/comments/2g0gt2/ive_spent_the_last_3_years_of_my_life_squeezing/ It's been pretty successful so far given the smaller size of the membership there. If you can, come show some support and gimme a shout out.
Electron
Last night, a training session with Michael. http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/gallery_20939_1417_78825.jpg That's my #3 rated by Eric M @141lbs. My bodyweight was 131 last night, and I hadn't tried this gripper in a long time. It's not closed yet... this was as close as close is, without being closed. I'll get it soon.

Electron
Damn Yori, solid crush! How many ppl have crushed more than their BW.. Besides Matt Cannon? Thanks bro! I think right now it's just us, but I'm sure it'll happen again. I'm trying to cert the MM0 as the lightest man to do so, bit grippers sure take a while to improve. hellswindstaff
What kind of set did you use? Nice close btw!
Electron
Yori - was that CCS or 20mm? That was a deep set, it was less than half an inch. It was my first serious attempts at this gripper every, so I set out real deep to see I'd I could do the last bit of the close.
Electron
What kind of set did you use? Nice close btw! Thanks man, but this one was all a very narrow miss. I did holds it here for 5-10sec though. It was a deep MMS.

jvance
Those are serious numbers stacked by your BW. 80+ pinch w/ your BW should be up there w/ Kody's 1hp ratio, if not more. Really wish I could make it up there this year but its not looking feasible ATM. Maybe next year if Eric feels like going toe to toe in the 83kg class we will see some big lifts in TX! I'm certain he will continue to dominate that class this year once again.
Electron
Thanks bro. I was hoping for you to come early to join the team, but that's for next comp. Hopefully I get to witness an epic duel between you and Eric next year! My 1HP will require more work but it'll be cool to get a record in the BW ratio. David Horne has some cool certificates for that.
