MalachiMcMullen
That means I can now compete! I came in the top 5 in the LW division at Gripmas '08 and at my contest, LCQ. Too Tall
Those of you on the list...please send me a PM if you are still a go for the competition. I am trying to make this a contest to remember for years to come. Thanks, Chad
mobsterone
I see Wades name as a watcher on the bottom... you back in Wade? C'mon lets rumble!!
dubthewonderscot
I might be willing to donate some prize money to entice those 3 back in. Anyone else? Would you consider this as an option Chad, I don't want to hijack your contest. But if the gripboard was willing to support the prize money, we might could entice them back. just a thought. if you want to take this offline, or want me to shut up, let me know. Again, I respect what your doing and don't want to derail anything.
Bob Lipinski
I doubt the prize money is the hangup here. With $1000 as top prize, maybe a little more exposure for powerlifting/strongman types in the area would do wonders.

Too Tall
How will the medley be scored? Most items dead lifted in the time limit gets the maximum points and then goes down from there. First gets 20 points Second gets 19...so on and so on. If there are ties then those scores will be divided out and split points.
mobsterone
It probably needs a little touch. What you've said there assumes that the 1st place guy gets all 20 implements. But by the same token how are the other events scored? One could, for arguments sake (silly but bare with me), come last in all of the previous non-medley events scoring 1 point each time then win the medley by lifting all the implements and beat someone who came 1st in all the big events and last in the medley? You also might wanna consider time as an issue. Viz: if two guys lift the same amount of implements the fastest one wins. Then how are they scored? It's a pain with these sort of things but best to get it out of the way now.
