Gripping day today.

WARM-UP SETS

COC #3

3 sets of 3 reps @ LS to fully closed.

**2006. Rest was 2 minutes between sets.**

WORK SETS

COC #4

6 sets of 1 reps @ MMS to 1/4 inch from fully closed.

**Crushed to 1/4 inch and held there. Forced fully closed and then BFN (Bounce Forced Negative) from fully closed, out to 1/8 inch for a three count. CLICK CLICK CLICK. Rest was 2 minutes between sets.**

BBE

6 sets of 3 reps @ MMS to fully closed.

**The BBE sure feels easy after the COC#4. Rest was 2 minutes between sets.**

15.3 Pound Sledge (Raise To Front And Rear)

5 sets of 5 reps @ End of Handle.

5 sets of 5 reps @ End of Handle.

**Taped a 3.3 pound plate to the end of the sledge. Performed superset of: 5 left and 5 right, to the front. Then 5 left and 5 right, to the rear. Rest was 2.5 minutes between sets.**

I wish it meant what you think it means. The handles are snapping shut, when I assist them now.

Chest day today.

Flat Barbell Bench Press Lockouts (Straight Barbell)

5 sets of 5 reps @ 410 pounds.

**Elbows at 90* to full lockout. Free weight, no spotter, 2.5 minute rest in between each set.**

Medium Grip Dips

5 set of 5 reps @ bodyweight + 50 pounds.

**Rest was 2.5 minutes between sets.**

What does that mean? lol, excuse my ignorance, but you still said they open to 1/8" after forcing in. When are they snapping shut?

I squeeze one handed, to 1/4 then force it fully closed with two hands and try to resist its opening. It opens out to 1/8 (and sometimes less), then I force it completely shut again. I repeat that 3 times total. :cool

What's the hardest gripper to date you can close?

Thanks! :rock The highest gripper than I can currently close completely is the BBE. My BBSE is too close to my #4, to work on it directly right now. It chews up my hands really good. I can almost cheat the #4 shut and hold it with one hand.

I've lost over 70lbs since February, and I have done zero crunches. And my stomach is getting close to flat now, I weighed 176lbs today @ 5'10".

But lets not encourage this man to diet FFS!!! He's so close to the #4! Dude, keep eating if you must, but your numbers look STRONG! Wow.

**Crushed to 1/2 inch then assisted to 1/8 inch. This was performed with pivot down. Rest was 2 minutes between sets.**

Thanks, Ben. :rock Workouts are frustrating these days - so close to closing the #4, that I almost risk injury each workout. On my 4th set, I could almost hold it shut. They are getting easier, but it's very difficult to be patient. :cry

I'm trying something like Dave Morton did. Quick warm-up, max singles, then cool down. ;)

Ha Ha! With each crush of the #4, I force it closed 3 times... so 34 reps on the #3, 10 reps on the #4 and 30 forced negs on the #4. :yikes

5 sets of 5 reps @ 175 pounds. PR

**I had 185-190 in me for sure, but I was feeling lazy. Rest was 2.5 minutes between sets.**
