I used to do plate flips and it was really fun but broke a finger doing them and I've been scared of doing plate acrobatics since :(

Sorry to hear about the broken finger, @Scottex92.

Not nearly as bad...but I think my tennis elbow issue started with catching dumbbells.  The farther they fall...the more speed they pick up...and the more stress on your forearm when you catch them (especially if you stop the weight too abruptly).

It’s pretty amazing what the human body can do. But it takes a while to adapt and condition to handle certain things..

yeah, it seems like dynamic effort exercises have a higher chance to end up in injury

My "before" dynamometer reading...

I think that Dynamometer shows less score than the eh108 Dynamometer. A guy i know did 75kg approx on that Dynamometer and around 100 kg on Gm150.

It's possible. This one was cheap on amazon. :)

my idea is to stress the magnitude and importance of recovery. If we train too often, our top end strength will never return, leading to frustration and confusion.

Yes those plastic cheap dynamos are more difficult. I've done over 115 kg on the silarukov and I could only do 90 kg (200 lbs) on those. They are accurate tho, I've tried to hang weights of the handle and it gives the correct readings. It's just something with the mechanics of them that makes them harder. For me at least, might be different for someone else.

Heavy Hands 2023 Lifts:

240lb 2" One Hand Napalm

358lb 2-3/8" Axle

236lb 3" Saxon

186lb LBH

I'm going to have to spend a month solely on LBH, but I loathe it...

Great lifts dubya!!! 358 Andrew’s Axle is an insane lift.
