You make some cool stuff John.  Ever think about fabricating and selling things?  That thing you posted a month or so ago  to work the thumb is real unique.

Funny you should say that. Trying to get my oldest boy up in Oregon To start making equipment for sale. He’s a welder by trade and has a small Machine shop in his house. he wants to quit his current job and start his own company and I want to retire and do something fun.

I was going to say, it might be something you can do once you retire... Maybe just work 20 hours a week or something. I think there is a market for this stuff if you can find a niche.  A lot of people seem to like the home gym thing these days.  But you probably are better off being a fabrication shop that makes everything. Working with father and son can be tough though but its pretty awesome at the same time. There is money in railings around here...

We also do small structural steel jobs,  the guy we use makes a killing off us fabricating stuff and half of it is left over from bigger jobs so you make money  off the stock twice.

I keep putting it off but i'd like to learn welding and fabrication... The government has made it way to be a general contractor... Even my dad says he'd get out if he was younger.

If you learn to weld and fabricate A whole new world it would open up for you.
