Grippers RH
- 2x1 Standard Cobalt RGC 165 MMS attempt
Close, but I can't say I was closer than 2 weeks ago. 2-3mm.
- 1x Standard Iron RGC 134 CCS
No problem, but when I did this before, it felt easier. Maybe because of the Cobalt attempts.
- 3x1 Standard Adjustable Tungsten set to RGC 175, 23mm choked
One of the closes is the first video.

Grippers LH
- 5x2 GD Iron 90, Level 5, widest spread, no extensions, handles touching, MMS
- 1x GD Iron 90, Level 5, widest spread, no extensions, handles touching, 30mm block set

Wrist Developer 2 CROM spring, suede singles
LH front
- 1x3 Level 12 (3-3)
PR, the WD2 felt real good today.
RH front
- 1x3 Level 11 (3-2)
Both hand positions
- 3x8 Level 10 (2-3)

Thanks! Yea, I'm looking forward to it. I like bending 21/64" CRS and I just ran out last week.

Thanks! Just a larger bolt cutter. I'm always stepping on one of the handles, and just pushing down the other. Much more efficient than "chest crushing" it. I could do this for a very long time without being exhausted.
I put a big towel on the ends of the bar so it won't fly off (which can be dangerous).

Yes they can go flying. I recommend a vise

but then you gotta chest crush it. I have a cut off saw with metal blade. Next order I may just line them and and cut them. But it is a great workout doing it by hand.

a few months back we where getting wire mesh at a supply yard but it was all tied together with thick gauged metal wire. The dude was struggling to cut it with the bolt cutters. I did it like nothing. Thanks to the chest krusher

Yeah an angle grinder would be the best, but I'm doing this inside, so I have to keep it as clean as possible. And sawing/grinding removes a lot of material all over the place..

Ahah I bet!
I have quite a big bolt cutter though, I cut 7/16" CRS with it before. So most of the cutting I do is easy. Thicker higher carbon stuff can be annoying of course.

One DU bend -> one REV bend; then repeat

DU leather singles
- Annealed 35CrMo 7mm x 6.5"
Feels very much like C45.
- CRS 8mm x 7"
- CRS 21/64" x 7"

Hmm, harder batch compared to the previous one. This was not an easy bend in singles.

DU leather doubles
- CRS 21/64" x 7"
- Annealed 35CrMo 8mm x 8"
- C45 8mm x 7" - failed

I couldn't finish this today, I was way too tired at this point.

Reverse leather singles
- 2x CRS 9/32" x 7"
One of them might be 6.5".
- CRS SQUARE 1/4" x 7"
- CRS HEX 7mm x 7"

With this stock, this was harder than the 1/4" square.
- 304 Stainless 7mm x 7"
- 304 Stainless 7mm x 6"

Last bend of the session. This needed the most hits today, 6-7.

All are above 40 degrees (except that one failed DU bend).

These mixed DU/reverse sessions are surprisingly tiring.

Nice work. How’s the wrists holding up?

got a question. Maybe it’s weird idk…Do you ever feel out of it and can’t focus after a bending session? I’m noticing a trend, and it takes a couple hours to “come down” afterwords. Maybe it’s just me.

Much better, thank you. It's still holding me back from going batsh1t crazy on a DU bend in doubles because deep down, I'm afraid I can't bend again for a month or two. The bends in singles are totally ok though! Probably that's why I'm enjoying those more recently.

I have a similar feeling when I do a big PR, but that is most probably because I'm "high" on the achievement. Was the same with powerlifting.

I almost compared it to the feeling after having some of the green stuff.

not that I know what that’s like 🤥

you’ll get there again. Injury free and slow and steady is the best way.
