I was very happy to get the 300 on the second attempt.  With the first, I was a little out of position at the bottom/start of the press with the angle of my forearms/upper-arms.  This affected the initial acceleration enough that I missed it just below the halfway mark.  I waited a few minutes and took a second-attempt.  The rep was probably a 5-6 second press and felt like an eternity.  Not a perfect rep but solid.

We took a few-day trip to south Florida with the kids.  Today's squat session was at an LA Fitness.  🤢  Terrible squat rack and even worse bar.  I probably should've of topped-out at 365 and just done reps.  But I couldn't help myself and just kept upping the plates.  Hate lifting at commercial gyms!  I wasn't counting but there were at least five people filming their workouts/lifting sessions IN THE GYM.  It was bizarre.  I'm assuming that people are posting their workouts on social media?  Maybe influencers?  Just annoying and distracting seeing this (as there was some posturing and commentary too).  Another reason why I hate, hate going to commercial gyms.

Everyone is their own worst critic.. Those are nice numbers.

I'm not a violent person or even a fighter but id end up punching somebody in the face if I went to a gym like that.

Yeah, it was traumatic!  Seemed like most of the people were concerned more with what was going on with their phones than actually training.

Last session in WPB.  Terrible benches!  The full benches almost felt like a Slip-and-Slide.  I could've gotten a third rep with the 260 but just decided to rack it as I was sliding and the bench was ridiculous.  I did the 85s and 100s almost like a reverse bi-set.

I ended-up breaking my pinky toe earlier in the week.  It was extremely swollen and painful for a few days but seemed to be getting better each day.  The shoes I have were helping too with the orthotics.  Today, my dog (original reason I broke toe) stepped on the same to with her nail right into the most painful part.  Crazy painful now and swollen even worse than the first night.

My toe is still messed-up and seems to be constantly getting aggravated throughout the day.  It wasn't as bad as I was expecting with the TB Deads, mainly as I found a foot position I could use with minimal pain.  But walking around everywhere seems to be causing issues with swelling later in the day.  Not much choice though with work to limit walking etc.

My toe is still really painful, which has made me alter my form/stance on several things the past few weeks.  I'm not really a fan of taking time off (or not squatting) so that isn't really an option at this point.  Hopefully, this starts getting better soon.  

I've had toe injuries/issues in the past but this has been the longest it's lingered from memory.
