Today's Farmers stayed true to the pattern I've noticed lately. My yoke or farmers will be 2s slower after a hard deadlift for reps session a few days before.

I just started doing the low carb thing 2.5 weeks ago (actually it's low fat too, direct orders from the Gentleman). So far I haven't noticed a change in energy level.

no PRs but still ok. new nike shoes were good.

2 x 255 - finger popped on rep 3

Last week I sprained my pinky and today my ring finger popped, both on my left hand. Might have to lay off the sandbag so I can keep enough fingers working to complete the Farmers Walk.

Only attempted up to 110 with lefty. Needs a lot more work.

Good press day. I don't have a lot of overhead DB PRs because I haven't ever trained it much. Never had a contest with that event.

Thanks Mike! The contest will probably be touch n go. Part of me wants to try to bounce it more, but my back doesn't really like it.

Goal was to gain some confidence doing conventional deadlift with a heavier weight. Since my back has been better, I've done some sumo, and some jeff jet before that, but not regular old conventional for a long time using this weight. Happy with this.

I haven't seen anybody do hip thrusts at the garage in a loooonggg time - must be that increase in confidence showing ;)

How's the pec?

Nice form on the deadlift, even as your grinding you maintain really good form. Your face says it all when you're done.

Mike, I was trying to remember the glutes. Not sure the first 4 reps looked any better, but I think on the 5th one I did better. Didn't look like it was all low back as it normally does.

The pec is improving. It never bruised, so hopefully it was pretty minor in the first place. Oddly I noticed a little pain in my left pec today though. Last year I had some beat up pecs for a while, but I was able to do slingshot fairly soon after. Hopefully I can at least do that again.

By the way.

Titan knee sleeves are a waste of money. Constantly slide down and bunch up. Enough so that they're not warming anymore. They're not as warm as Rehbands either. Rehbands may be expensive, but now I know its worth it.

I don't like my Titan wrist wraps either. To me, wrapping each wrist the same means you wrap them both "out" or "in". If you do that, the thumb loop will be in the wrong place for one of them. Very annoying to me.

I ordered a belt from Titan 8 weeks ago and still haven't received it, or any email giving me an order confirmation. I'm going to take care of it now, but this isn't the first time I've had to complain to them.

I just need to get that off my chest :) so the 3 people who read this don't make the same mistakes.

I don't know Kelly, those knee sleeves look like they provide quite the amount of support....I mean with the duck tape that is.

I'm secretly starting to like the duct tape, actually. Not even joking.

I bought SBD sleeves at the Fit for Life expo. I like them, more supportive than Rehband. I don't think they'll bunch up much.

Cool, I'll see how they work for you, and maybe buy some.
