One Arm Hangs 1 x 25s DB Holds - holding the end 30 x 58s 45 x 15s - left only 35 x 30s Circus DB One Hand Deadlift 500 x 0 x 145 - not too brag, but I think I had more failed attempts than JDef! Bench 225 - stopped early, arms feeling beat TEE / TKE 2 x 15 x blue / 2 x 15 x blue Curl barbell for some reps Left arm seems to be lagging and making the press difficult. I think when I started using the inzer elbows sleeves + doing a cont clean, it ravaged my bicep and its still a little beat up. Farmers Hold did picks up to 360 for ~5s Circus DB One Hand Deadlift 2 x 1 x 145 - probably a 3-4s hold with the left. big PR. strongman1 Posted April 15, 2014 Author Share Posted April 15, 2014 /4/14/14 - Mon Axle C&P 2 x 245 + 3 cleans - was having rack issues. the axle is so bent that if it rolls forward I'd drop it, I don't use thumbs so it was hard to stop. if it rolls in, it really strains my elbows and wrists. because of this, i'm done using this particular axle. not worth the wear and tear. Pulldowns Ab Wheel 2 x 25 Need to get in the groove of conventional DL. Been doing sumo for about 3.5 months. All full reset reps too, of course. Good news is 12 x 475 wasn't a max, and my back is holding up, so happy with that. I'm planning on doing something I haven't done in a really long time... compete. In 10 weeks at Sauk Rapids in the 265 class. Also, started a diet this week, with the goal of getting to about 240 so I can go LW. Maybe not by Sauk Rapids, but still this summer. 'ceps, forearms, wrists are taking a beating from the axle. JDef got a new ironmind axle so I really wanted to try it. Going to stop axle for a while, probably even switch to bench to give my arms a rest. Don't need to work axle for any contests this summer anyway. Doing some conditioning that day actually helped reduce the hunger. I don't have to lose weight to go 265. I would like to be able to go LW sometime after Sauk Rapids though.
