Rock'n'Roll time! ... I better kick my training up a notch cause you could win this one Adam! ... your Axle is awesome, your grippers are climbing, and we'll have 2 very nicely seasoned 2hp setups ... yikes! I hope to get top 3 at this one ... there will be some freaks competing this year.

Thanks Ben, thanks Parris. Maybe I can squeeze out 5-10 more pounds for the contest but I only have 3 more pinch workouts until then, so we'll see ... however, I'll be happy w/one more pound than Brent ... that'll do me :shifty

This is hilarious:

Ode to Pinch - by Tim Struse

I hurt my thumbs today

to see if I still feel

I focus on the pain

the only thing that's real.

The plates ripped my hand…

That old familiar sting;

tried to super-glue it closed,

but it ripped open once again.

When will I PR again,

my 48mm friend?

I'm tired of being on the

Top 50 list… toward the end.

And you can have it all,

my euro pinch device…

It will let you down

It will make you hurt.

I just realized it is molden from the Johnny Cash song...

Exactly! But it was originally performed my Nine Inch Nails and Cash redid it.

Ya know what, I knew that and forgot. I heard it by Johnny Cash first so it's been internalized that he did it first.

gotta get it in a contest.

It'll be like 5 months before I get to compete on 2hp again. I'm taking a long approach to my training right now.

what was your exact weight you got at Gripmas again Brent?

104.65k

230.42#

I missed 233 and change. If you do get it that would be awesome. it seems like there has been a group of people pushing 2hp numbers up super fast. I have to wonder if there hasn't been some leap made in training that will allow people to start pulling big numbers more often. It seems like the baseline for strong has been moved on the 2hp quite a bit this last year.
