Decided to have another go at the #3 for an official MM0 cert close. Not even close. I keep getting stuck at 1/2 inch mark. I think I may still be fatigued from my 20 sec 2.5 hold yesterday cause I couldn't hardly hold a penny with it today

Need a few days rest I think!

Very strong workout bro. Nice job on the PR. 400 will happen this year on the bench. I have no doubts. Again, you need to get a spotter and see just how many reps you can do with the 300 if you took it to the limit. I'm betting you could do 8 or 9 if you had a safety net.

I've only attempted to close it with an official set a few times and it's always been about 1/2 inch away. I haven't tried closing it fresh though. I also need to work on my setting cause once in a great while I get a set that feels really good and obviously that makes the crush much stronger.

I closed the #3 the first day I got it a few weeks ago but that was also stabilizing the gripper by holding the spring with my off hand. I think I was full of adrenaline cause haven't closed it since. I'm gonna take off the next few days and have a go at it Sunday night when i'm "fresh"

Did a little gripper work with my #2 and 2.5 both need oiling, since I haven't ever oiled them since I bought them not so long ago and they are starting to feel overly hard.

RH-- 5 consecutive singles with 2.5 CCS 5 more singles with 2

LH-- 1 single with 2.5 then 3 consecutive sincles with 2

Took the day off from my normal MWF Deads N Milk routine to let my body fully recover for once and was gonna pick it back up friday

Decided to make a run at 225lbs for reps on bench just for the heck of it.

20 good reps and failed on 21 had to dump the weight lol PR!!!!

You need to raise the bench goal for 09 to above 400. That's doin work.

Prolly gonna find out where my max actually is or close to it next week if my bench will hold the weight

Got some more free weights today since I only had 300lbs before. Decided to monkey with the bench to see how much it would hold safely since it's only supposed to hold 310lbs on the bench rack pins.

Bench

quick warmup 10x 135lbs

2x225lbs

1x295lbs

1x325lbs

1x335lbs

335 went up easy but I was still really sore from Fridays work and decided to stop there and really test the limits when I'm fresh.

Bench didn't collapse with 335lbs so lets hope it holds 350 or more when I have another go at a 1rm :cool
