Thought I needed to start this up again...got a pretty decent workout in today so here it is:

4:28 PM-4:58 PM

Reverse Curls:

-Curl Bar+20 3X10

Wrist Roller:

-25 pounds 4X up and down

Thick Bar Wrist Curls:

-Bar alone: 10 reps

-Bar+20: 10 reps

-Bar+70: 5 crappy partial reps

-Bar+50: 5 decent reps

1" V-Bar (wanted to try and use the triples concept/method):

-135 pounds X3 each hand

-145 pounds X3 each hand

-190 pounds X3 each hand

-200 pounds X2 each hand

I felt very proud of my V-Bar work today...it's nice progress for me.

Congrats on getting a venue and all them sponsors so far Travis! It's shaping up to be a proper comp :rock :rock :rock I'll look forward to checking this log from time to time as well ;)

Some quick lifting today:

Bench Press:

-135 pounds 3X8

Hammer Curl:

-55 poundsX10

-65 poundsX10

-65 poundsX10

Bent Over Rows with Tricep Bar:

-65 poundsX10

-95 poundsX10

-95 poundsX10

Will be doing some grip stuff tomorrow...any suggestions?

My gripper workout for today:

CoC Trainer TNS for 20 reps

CoC #1 TNS 1X5,1X4

Filed HG200 CCS 1X12

CoC #1 2X7,1X8,1X6

Filed HG200 3X10

Nice gripper work Travis. Doing all the sets will only make you stronger in the long run.

Today's workout:

V-Bar:

-2 W.U. reps at 160

-1 rep at 185

-3 attempts at 210

-210 at 1 rep

RT Triples:

-90 pounds X3

-100 X3 right only

-110 X3 right only

Block weights:

-35 pound block to full DL

-35 pound block 10 second hold right, 7 seconds left, 8 seconds right

-40 pound block negative

-4X10 pound plates left only X3

Hub holds:

-25 pound hub 13 seconds right, 11 left, 15 right, 7 left

Those hub holds really fired my fingers! It was a great workout...just tried to do everything...

I'm not doing any grip until Saturday when I will bend...I need a few days off to recover...

On a side note, does anyone know a good extensor lift I could incorporate? I need one for the contest anyways and it would be nice to train it! Thanks in advance!

what i've been trying is just do a hub lift from the inside. i can almost get a 10 pounder off the ground.... :upsidedwn

Umm...yeah :erm My gripper strength is actually down right now because I've been concentrating on gym workouts and cardio. Therefore, the projected date will have to be postponed until further notice :cry

Today was awesome!

Warmed up and did 2 of the BBB 1/4"X6" G2's

Then I wrapped up a 60D, put my all into it and somehow got it in 16 seconds!

About 5 minutes later, still having a bunch of energy, thought I would try my first 1/4" hex at 6". After 23 minutes, I'm proud to say that I came out the victor!

Two PR's today and I'm feelin great

Holy cow, nice PR increase there Travis! That 1/4"X6" Hex is even with most of the normal 6" G5s that I've bent. Very nice job. Are you using DO and leather?
