easyWeight
Well my Windows Movie Maker is being stupid so I didn't get everything I wanted uploaded due to file size. But here's me bending a 1/4"x5" HRS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvQLfPw90Wc...re=channel_page Also bent another Blue Nail after today's earlier session and it went down much easier. I've convinced myself that the first supposed Blue Nails I thought I was bending were really HRS rather than CRS. They were just too easy compared to the CRS I have now. easyWeight
FWs: 120'x165 80'x215 80'x245 FW Holds: 245x40sec 245x35sec/drop/10sec more Then a few pinch holds with 45 bumpers and two 25s. So much for the game plan. Bending doesn't seem to be bothering me as much as I had expected. I wanted to buy a sledge hammer and get some wrist work done too, but I'm too cheap to buy the one at the nearest hardware store. Will take a trip down to Menard's here soon and get a couple for probably half the price.
easyWeight
Bending: w/u = 6" 60d Tiber Tie x 1 then x a double, Few Carriage bolts both DO and DU 6x1/4" HRS x 1 DU Blue Nail x 3 singles DU (1xDO) ~ really melted through these suckers today 5.5" Blue Nail x 2 singles DO ~ DU didn't quite feel right, but really melted through these also Grade 5 1/4"x6" x 1 DO ~ About and inch off center! I thought these were going to be tough, but melted it too! Took a few whacks at some 5/16"x7" HRS. I can't get this stuff under my chin and consequently my leverage is non existent. Either I started off being a pussy today (most likely), or those timber ties really vary in tensile strength, still easy enough, but felt like the 6" HRS today. I feel like my form was better today, but can still use some improvement. DU really felt good, but not so much on the shorter stock. On suggestion, I was using double wraps today also. On the plus side, they really saved the palms of my hands, which are still a little sore from last bending session. One the negative side, they really like to spin out of my hands. I also had a tough time feeling out the right position to get a center kink today and consequently most everything was off center, the G5 being the worst. I'll have to work with it a bit. easyWeight
God, I can't stop bending now. No will power! Bending: G5 5.5"x1/4" ~ TOO EASY! Will try a 5" next time 5"x1/4" Black JH G5 ~ didn't get the crush down, but put a nasty kink in it! Video is posted on my YouTube.

easyWeight
That's a damn good axle pull, dude. Thanks Matt! With my dainty hands I will probably never have a 400+ DO Axle, but I would like to get up in the mid to high 300s.

easyWeight
Well, I know I shouldn't have bent anything today, because my elbows were sore from lifting this evening, but: Bending: Timber Spike x 1 Carriage Bolt x 1 7.5"x1/4" CRS x 3 ~ trying to get a feeling for getting it under my chin 6"x1/4" CRS x 1 5.5"x1/4" CRS x 1 5"x1/4" G5 x 1 ~ just first time doing a regular G5, pretty easy 6"x1/4" G8 x 1 ~ first time again, kinking it was somewhat of a challenge, but the crush was pretty easy Feeling more assurance after the G8 that I should be able to destroy the Bastard, I gave it a go, and just barely wobbled it. AHHHHHH! I'm too inflexible! Haha, well I got pissed off and chopped an inch off another one, but I think that's still a bit out of my reach yet, but I wobbled it too, for what it's worth. 7.5"x1/4" CRS x 1 cool down bend Stretched + ice Uploading video of G8 bend to YouTube. easyWeight
Wasn't going to bend until Monday, but I had way too much time on my hands today so I gave in to temptation. Bending, all DO: 2 Timber Spikes 1 Carriage Bolt 1 6x1/4 HRS 1 5.5x1/4 CRS 1 6x1/4 G5 1 6x5/16 G2 Just the first one of these done, but felt fairly tough, more so than the G5 Attempts at Huge Bastard ~ moved it a bit Bastard ~ moved more than HB Well, I got some good ISOs in on the bastards. I got my form switched around and getting the bar under my chin now. I have a nice red mark/line from it for proof! Also took the wraps out further (pistol grippin - that really feels weird') It's all feeling a LOT different than the way I was bending. I almost dare say that right now I feel weaker with it, but I'm hoping I'll get use to it. Maybe a few sessions like this and stuff will fall into place. Thanks for everyone's advice thus far! easyWeight
Got some steel in the mail today. Thanks to my friend Hugo! Bending: 2 Timber Ties 2 7"x1/4" CRS DU 2 6"x1/4" CRS DU 6"x5/16" G2 HKT ~ miss, gave it a decent kink though. I didn't expect this to be that hard! 1 15cmx7mm CRS DO 1 6"x1/4" G5 DO ~ easy DO 1 6"x1/4" G8 DO ~ easy, easy, easy 1 15cmx7mm SS DO ~ video on my YouTube Bastard ISOs - it's moving a little at a time. I'm starting to think I just have some morphadite CRS, because I believe I should be able to move that crap more than I have been! It doesn't kink, it just moves really slow! 7"x5/16" HRS DO prekinked a bit, maybe I just suck at 5/16" haha 5"x1/4" Black JH G5 crushed down to 2 1/8" spread in 8 minutes These are absolutely the hardest crush of everything I've done so far. Absolutely insane! The thread bent in on one side, so I think that may have made it harder to finish. I'll get one soon in one sitting. Good. easyWeight
Tearing Circuit: Phone Book (Grip N' Rip), Deck of Cards (DO), Phone Book (Grip N' Rip), Deck of Cards (DO) Little or no rest between each tear. Cards are Casino Bees as always and books were 1 3/4" thick. I got about 3/4 of the way through the last deck, but the started bending downward and wouldn't finish for me I think on a better day I would have had no problem, but for some reason even the first deck felt a little awkward. Not bad though considering I use to struggle a lot with these cards. Parallel Set CoC Grippers: #1.5x10 each #2x4 each #2.5x2 right x0 left #2.5x1 right x very close in left #1x5x10 each There were also a couple TNS and CCS in there with the #2 also. easyWeight
Just got my IM Red Nails today!! Had to give one a try and I have to say I was a little worried considering I can't even barely wobble the supposed 5/16" HRS I have. Well, this is what I did today. Bending: 1 6"x1/4" CRS - was pre-kinked from messing around earlier in the week, so just crushed it 3 Timber Spikes w/u 1 6"x1/4" CRS - from straight IM Red Nail - yeah buddy! Took me only 28seconds from the first hit! A lot easier than I expected. 5" Black JH G5 - finished this sucker to under 2" in about 22sec! A very good day! Both videos on my YouTube! I decided not to bend anymore because I was feeling a little bicep pain. Nothing serious, but better safe than sorry. Also for what it's worth I tore a new deck of Bicycle Playing Cards last night. I was surprised to find out that they're considerably easier than the Casino Bees I've been tearing. Made me feel good Now if I can manage to destroy a Minneapolis phone book in under a minute I'd be flying high!

It's no surprise you destroyed the Bikes You know what I'm talking about then I get the Bees for 25 cents a deck from the casino my girlfriend works at. I've done several 6x1/4" round CRS DU in the past, but I don't think I do it quite right. I'll work on my form and probably do more in the future Thanks Hugo! easyWeight
9/20/09 Some relatively unproductive bending Hit a 6" Red Nail, and only kinked it about 30deg.
