Dang Aaron that's a hell of a long session and a great one too. Great PRs and yeah sorry the 45 lb blob is still really slick because I never used it much. At least it seems to be getting a lot of use and I bet it'll be well seasoned soon. Are you starting to season my 2" Vbar? Hopefully it works alright for you until you get yours. I thought you already got the 11/32" SS? ANyway great job Aaron keep it up buddy

Thanks, its seasoning a little. I think the paint is making is slick. I'm trying to season the vbar some. I did get the 11/32 SS on a very good day from straight. But I'm not at anywhere near peak bending strength at the moment. The one I was working on yesterday was a partial bend from before I got the other one and it is good and set up at its current position.

Trying to deload my hands abit so I didnt do any grip yesterday, and none planned for today. gonna change the workout days around a little so I can hit grippers when I'm a little fresher and not so CNS battered. Also gonna start watching what I put in my mouth a little better. maybe some chest crushes though today. Yesterday I did do some gym work.

great log, with some great numbers. a 5 hour lifting session is huge. how do you do your lateral raises, if they are straight arm then 50# is massive. congrats

Thanks, they are pretty straight. I havent done them for a long time but my shoulders still seem pretty strong.

Did mostly crush and vbar work tonight. every so often I would pull the blob too while walking by. prolly at least 5 times. However I didnt bother to write any of those down.

260 on a brand new V-bar? I think I'm going to just go hide in the corner in shame - nice lift Aaron! There's going to be some serious stuff done on the 2" this meet. I wish some of the others would post training logs - be fun to see where everyone is in their preparation.

I see you're still using 54mm on the 2-hand pinch.

Ever tried a bigger width like 64mm?

That would make sense to me seeing your blob strength.

Haven't tried it yet. might try it one of these pinch days.

Did a little gripper type stuff throughout the day. tried to take a light day volume wise. Gripper strength felt pretty good today. Also throughout the day I pulled the blob several times. Just when walking by. Even did a double with it at one point. Feeling alot more solid with it even cold.

Todays workout. Tried to do a little lower volume than last weekend. Skipped the bending too. I have an irritated Pec tendon that I need to let heal up some more before I abuse it again. Pinch went decent today and I got a couple long wanted PRs

Good workouts Aaron!!! I know how you feel about the pec tendon, my left pec has been bugging me for a few days since I hurt it trying a 5" G8. Congrats on the 2-44s pinch that's a hell of an achievement. Great 2HP numbers keep it up and you'll do amazing at BBB.
