pdfk20
Last night, whilst watching Tv, no chalk did: RH: #3 x 2 x 3 ( reps just under parallel) #3 x 1 x 3 LH: 6 negs on #
pdfk20
Did some hub lifting with plates today. Manged to lift 20kg/44lbs (using a 15kg plate and 2 x 2.5kg plates) to knee height before it went straight back down. Good sign that i will be able to lift the big 20kg using plates very soon. Also working on a 15kg plate transfer came very close on that.

egg_uk
nice lifting, what plates are you using, my bodypower ones seem real hard, as the hub is shallow, maybe im just rubbish at it, think i might get an im hub or one from fbbc to practice with. pdfk20
good work Pete. nice lifting, what plates are you using, my bodypower ones seem real hard, as the hub is shallow, maybe im just rubbish at it, think i might get an im hub or one from fbbc to practice with. Thanks Sam and thanks egg uk, will feel like a big achievement when i comfortably pick up the 20kg. The plates are also bodypower, i think they're one of the only manufactures that still makes the plates with a completely smooth side. The hub on my 15kg plate is quite a good one, but the 20kg plate i have is much smaller which is why i have been stacking smaller plates onto the 15kg plate. I have a feeling i'll lift the 20kg plate at some point though, it was thinking about coming off the ground the other day but changed its mind

Yes i used a card for these CCS closes, quite often i would set too far, and have to open it up a bit for the card to fit in - all good practice.
