Thick Bar: 110 lbs ( 5 seconds)......Negatives, of course. 140 lbs ( 2 x 5 seconds) 150 lbs ( 5 seconds) Then this is it, it is time to check my max DL on the DB-Thickbar. I also managed to lift the 56lb block scale( In one hand) and snatched some plates.

bunchofbananas
Jeez if you can keep the number 4 shut with one hand then how come you haven't risen up the Mash Monster ladder? Impressive!
Timmy
Jeez if you can keep the number 4 shut with one hand then how come you haven't risen up the Mash Monster ladder? Impressive! Because I am unable to pay the fees for certification. If I did, I would suspect that I would be MM2 level.

lifesnotfair
And where does the Mash Monster Level 5 fit? And level 6? .. as there are a few who have close those, I wanna know! =)
Timmy
And where does the Mash Monster Level 5 fit? And level 6? .. as there are a few who have close those, I wanna know! =) A MM5 is probably around a SE level - even though it uses a GE spring. MM6 would rate around a seasoned #4. Timmy
Forget the HG350. The chances are, it will most likely season below a #3. I'll just purchase another #4 - GR8 Model - and leave it unseasoned. It will also be more fitting to have possession of, both, a Dark and Silver spring #4 - if you know what I mean! Timmy
Today I really didn't have the motive to lift, but I did anyway. Strict Press: 2 x 5 ( 135) 3 x 3 ( 160) BB Rows: 2 x 5 ( 180) Chins: 4 x 6 ( 50 strapped) DB-Curls: 3 x 5 ( 70) This time my hands felt warmed, so I gave the 28kg Scale weight a ride - post vid later. Timmy
Tomorrow, I'll be hitting the thick Bar, and tryout some assisted ranges with the #4 choked to parallell. It looks like I'll have to order another #4, and maybe file the sucker down! Unless someone is willing to trade a BB Pro with me...... Timmy
Holy S!!!! My hands have never recieved the beating that they have received today. Gripper: HG200 ( 10 HG250 ( 5) HG300 ( 2) #3 ( Singles and doubles) Now, this is where it got interesting....... #4: 3 Full-Sweep Brace reps Choker to Parallell - 4 x 3 ( Assisted, not braced) Wider in Choke - 3 x 3 ( Braced for full sweeps) Little wider - 3 x 2 ( Same as above) Set - 2 x 5 ( Hurt'n on each rep) All up! 12 assisted, 30 Braced I couldn't do thick bar work, because of the wet weather dwelling. My next goal will be 20 assisted and 40 Braced. Edited July 15, 2006 by Timmy
