I wish you a good training cycle and a well-timed peaking. It's been a while since I did competitions (not armlifting though) but I was thinking recently to program my bending to a "cert day" I decide myself beforehand. The safety bar would be so good for me. I do more shoulder warmup before squats than leg or lower back and I grab the bar almost the widest possible.

stranger
Results from my first Grip comp, the 2022 US Grip Sport Championship! Finished 8th overall and 2nd in the 120kg class 20mm gripper block set 165RGC 3" Saxon 198lbs 2" Napalm Nightmare 402lbs Little Big Horn 178lbs Super happy with my results. Hit PR'S on grippers and LBH and that was my first time ever touching a Saxon or NN. Afterwards I hubbed a shallow York 45lb plate, bent a Red in IMP's and some 70d's, ripped a pack of Bikes in the box and lifted a 135lb Inch. Great time, can't wait for the next one!

Some guys drove 7, 10 and 12 hours for this contest. I got lucky and only had a 2 hour drive. I'm sure you'll do really good at King Kong

Bigfoot Grip
Really strong numbers for a first meet The gripper close is extremely impressive! Just curious what's your best lift on the 2H 3" Arm Assassin block? Because 198 is really good for never using a saxon bar lol.

I tried making it similar to a Saxon soni used my 8" loading pin and stood in bumper plates lol. I think I'm gonna buy one soon though. https://youtube.com/shorts/-ZBJHyvjofY?feature=share

I'd also imagine your block isn't very seasoned yet(if at all) making it more impressive. I use the same one to train for the saxon bar lol. Should be interesting to see how KK goes. I'd think the 2" pinch block could be somewhat of a substitute for the flask. At the rate you're going I think you'll do really well at KK! 1

I cut my own cordura from a big sheet I bought so I'll order some IMPs from CPW next month to participate (DU). I still have a few A2s to play with.
