Warm up- 2 minutes for each hand - Powerball

Warm up- 20 reps for 2 sets on each hand- Snow ball crushes

10 sets- 1 rep- BBSM Negatives

4 sets- 1 rep- 5.75" 60D Bends

5 sets- 20 reps- 4 10lb plates Formulator Supinated Wrist Curls

5 sets- 20 reps- 2 10lb plates Formulator Pronated Wrist Curls

5 sets- 10 reps- Pony Clamps/ Dynamic Thumb Exercise

4 sets- Until Failure- IM Red Bands

Comments:

I'm working from 7PM- 7AM tonight. I did this around 1AM, so I went light overall on the workout. Next time, I will add more plates on the Formulator. Also, I will use my hard IM#3 for negatives. Besides that I was pretty lazy and inconsistent, since I had to help some users during the workout. All in all, I still wish that I can bring a sledge hammer to work to assist in my bending. At least I have the Formulator at work, I have sometime else to use to work on my wrists, besides nail bending. This is my typical workout at work, since I can't bring in my block weights, thick bar dumbells and sledge hammer. I will have to do the rest at home, when I have more time or train at a friends house for grip training.

I'm working from 7PM- 7AM tonight. Workout felt okay. I didn't want to go too hard, since I'm at work and that I'm still burnt from working a lot of weird hours this week. When I did the plate pinch on the Formulator, it felt pretty hard, since the Formulator weighs over 5lbs and the clamp is 2.5lbs. I did my pinch that way, so I can get a different feel on the pinch and also, that the plates would not fall over the place, if I failed the lift.

I'm working from 7PM- 7AM tonight. I was able to kink the Grade 5s a bit on both tries, but I wasn't able to kink it far enough to do a sweep on the bend. Besides that I felt good with the workout, since I workout earlier that day and that I didn't get that much sleep.

Nah, I'm just doing negatives. It's a hard #3, so when I use the avg #3, I should be able to get closer in closing it. I'm less than a 1/4 of inch away from closing an avg #3. I've closed an avg #3 on a choker, but that's pretty much it. I plan on doing the MM0 next month. Hopefully, I get it on a good day.

training at work, I like it! I bring my grippers, now just my ISG, to work with me a lot. I also do cardboard and paperback book tearing at work to. How do you like your formulator? I made a homemade one and its alright, but it still dosnt beat barbell wrist curls. The portability of it cant be beat though.

yeah, training at work is the best. i used work at a gym and training between working hours there was better, but i can't really complain now, though. i love the formulator. i can also do levering type of movements on it, besides the usual wrist curl and reverse wrist curl. the best homemade one that i have seen is from Zpassman1. he has nice cushion on his handles. the portability of it is definitely great.

1st Grip Workout of the Day

No Warm-Up

5 sets- 10 sec holds- Pinch 50lb Hex

3 sets- 1 rep- 13.25lb Sledge Hammer Lever

Comments:

I did this before going to work. I did a little grip workout, since I took the day off from working out at the gym. 50lb Hex Pinch wasn't easy as it normally is, since I haven't train on it for weeks now. The lever felt pretty good. I haven't levered in weeks, as well. Next time, I should do more reps. I would like to thank John Wood and the Formulator, since my wrists are a lot stronger now. Now, I'm able to lever more weight with more reps and I'm also able to bend tougher nails, now.

I will have to do more volume work, if I am going to take the next step to go to the next level. I hope that I can get a 6" Grade 5 on Saturday, if not, then I can always wait until next yr.

I see you are using the formulator. Did you notice any increase in forearm size, and wrist strength?

Definitely. My forearms used to be 14.5" and now they are 15". It's not a really a significant increase, but yeah I do notice and my wrists feel like steel, now.

I'm working from 7PM- 7AM tonight. I started at 1AM. I was wasn't as intense as yesterday, since I felt a little sore. I will do a 2nd workout later on using the Formulator. I normally do nail bending after grippers, but my wrists were sore from nail bending and levering last night. Tomorrow night, I will work another 12 hour graveyard shift, so I have to go a lot harder tomorrow.

I'm working from 7PM- 7AM tonight. I felt a little better today, even though I had less sleep than yesterday. My new batch of 60Ds felt way harder than my 7" Grade 5. I kink the Grade 5 a bit, but the Hard 60Ds hardly showed a dent on it. Man, I have to get another batch, because I can't train with them for now. I wish I got a 100 60Ds from my old batch. I guess that's experience for me, right there.

Gotta love the huge difference in 60ds. My first one was as easy as a blue. I just got a new batch that I finally was able to bend. When I first got them, I could take down 5 blues in under 10 min, but couldnt do more than a kink in the 60d. They are about halfway between my blue and red I think.

Youll get that bolt next time. Your formulator work seems to be getting better.

The 55lb Block Pinch Negatives were done earlier today. I'm not allowed to bring it to work. Sucks. I'm tired, sleepy and working. I only sleep for 4 hours. I'm lucky enough that I went through this workout. Whew!!! :happy
