Speed is key, remember that... When you hit that Red and I said it started to go, its only a few degrees from just melting right to 90. If you hit it harder off the beginning, it will just melt.

Ya know I still can't even do two 25s. You boys are Strong.

What are you using for your one handed DL's?

A couple weeks ago me and Left Side pulled 255 on a regular oly bar...

Today I did one handers with the same kinda bar at my gym and only hit 205.

I dont know what the difference was in bars, but there was a HUGE difference.

Our oly bars seem pretty normal to me, which is what I use by the way Ox.

So one handed deadlifts must be done to lockout eh? This complicates things.

Malcolm I was seriously pissed about not being to do the 35's. Next time I am going to do them before crush, as I think that was what killed me. Crush doesn't really suffer from following pinch, but the reverse sure does.

P.S Malcolm one of our bars has a slight camber rememer, if that was the one we were using, that may explain it a bit, although I can't imagine it making that much of a difference. Were you using chalk?

Maybe the knurling just sucks.

Do you stradle the bar with it running in between your legs, or do you do it like a normal DL but with just one hand?

The second way seems really hard to me. You are warming up with almost as mush as I have done a two handed full DL...

Now I do one handers with a loading pin in between my legs (straddle) with a 2" bar. The range of motion is much smaller but focus on hand strength much greater. (Good for climbing)

Medwig, its because of the revolving of the bar more or less. That barely barely spins and the one I was using spun like crazy. It would just roll outta my fingers and my hand isnt big enough to hook it. Its a good start...

Ten - I do both, I just switch movements up a lot, thats all.

I use the straddle method.

Mal the bar I did that workout one is the one that spins. Next time I'll the one that doesn't, good thought.

Ten these were only broken off the ground, remember, not done to lockout.

Uh oh, not enough sleep eh... Grip going down down down....

I pinched those mental 35's I was telling you about, no chalk. Its all about the skin burn.

Yeah, about that grip, I closed the gripper and found it hard. Obviously not a good day for grip. I'll stick to once a week.

It looks like Monday's are going to be pinch and forearms day, seperating pinch from crush is going to make a big difference I think.

And hostel was cool, you should check it out.

I did. I had been told that it was crazy and disturbing but it wasn't nearly that bad.

There were some flinch worthy moments, but it was't as bad as I'd been led to beleive.

Just got a new Ivanko Super Gripper, it's nice. Could do 6-8, my friend could do 8-10, which was too hard for me. He doesn't even train either.

What is a repectable close on this thing?

Ahhyeah! Hubs are dope. I will catch you on bending and pinching plates and you catch me on hubs (this is a better deal for me...)

I was talking to a friend today about Hostel. I asked him how it was compared to other disturbing movies we had seen and he said it would get to just about anyone...

Who is this person who doesn't train and is whoopin' you?
