So I have decided to start a training log because I have to start righ tfrom scrap again. My hand was pretty messed up and this is the first grip workout I have been able to do for the past couple of months. Hopefully I will heel up fairly well and get back on track. I have no goals righ tnow, just to heel up well and move some decent weights. Hope my journal provides someone with something! lol.

Straight Arm Pipe Twists - 30 reps

Bent Arm Pipe Twists - 30 reps

Reverse D Bell Wrist Curls supersetted with Wrist Curls - 20 lbs for 3 sets of 15

Plate Curls - 10 for 3 sets of 15

One Hand Finger Hangs - 2 sets for 12 seconds

Two Hands - 30 seconds

Hang from 2 inch pipe - 2 times for 10 seconds

One Hand Pinch - 25's then threw it on a bar and got 57.5, got 35's with right and just put air under left

Gripper - Trainer with left - 6 sets of 15, 10, 11, 7, 12, 15, 14, 8

Trainer with right - 13 sets of 13

Im liking the idea of using these crappy peices of leather I have for fat bar and d bell and all sorts of work... I plan on using it as it saves skin, and when I use it I feel a lot more beat up afterwards, which I THINK is usually a good thing...

Chest Crushes - #3 for 5 sets of 3

Grippers - 8 negatives with COC #1

Chin Levering - 3 sets of 3 with the smallest hammer you ever seen

So I am HORRIBLE and levering, and my grippers are even weaker than before, haha. I am going to do negatives from here on in until I feel as though my hands are strong enough to get back to where I used to be, which may take a while.. My yellow bends went well today, I was trying to break them down into 3 explosive movements, which were a small kink, then through the sweep, and a crush... All movements were done seperately but very explosive. The reason I took this approach today was because my sweep is very weak and I cant "pump" during the bar during it like my kink and crush.

Fat bar work today was very intersting, the bar felt very large but it was a very good feeling. I think the bar with both leathers on it equals the Apollons Axel, so Im a long ways from doing any damage on it.

My hub lifts felt ok, I didnt get as many singles as I wanted to, but oh well.

Today was my LAST workout at home, off to SCHOOL in 4 days!!

Two Hand Pinch (gloves) - 120 for 5 singles

Plate Pinch (ring and pinky) - 10's for 2 singles

V Bar (heavy leather) - 225 with both hands

Thick D Bell Lifts (2 leather) - 90 lbs for 1 single

Bending - 5 inch Demons for 12

Hex D Bell Lift - up to 30's for 10 second hold

Gripper - #1 for a bunch of negs

Double Over Hand Rack Pull - 365 for 1

Bending - 5 inch G5's for 3 and 1 kink

The pain in the middle of my hand was really bad, I think I need time off or something, or Im just a sissy... Or, the plan is to start doing more ME bends until my hand gets better, Im gonna really atack my hand and rehab it like mad. Im gonna start doing more reps and such with my lifts, need to toughen up my hands, Im sick of this pain in them... time to get strong!

MT - nice mix of different movements - you should end you with a good balanced development over time. You might think about more extensor work though. Way to go!

V Bar Hold (no chalk) - 205 for 8 seconds with each hand

Grippers - #2 negs for 5 singles

So I have came to the conclusion of two things... My hands hurt and I cant bend. sooo, Im going to bring back the light levering and see what that does, maybe Ill be able to bend within the next couple weeks.

Suit Case Rack Pulls - worked up to 205

Index and Middle finger pinch - 4 10's for 5 singles

HUGE PR's ALL AROUND TODAY!!!

I have reallyfound that dif kinds of plates result in totally dif stuff.

Bending - worked up to a Red

So the past few days i have been really beat up, not enough sleep, too much school work and all of that crap. I benched yesterday so that Red was pretty tough, under a minute still but not nearly fast enough.

The 2 hand inch was good, those plates are pretty thick and sharp but with chalk they were alright. The gripers are finally starting to feel good again, good things are comming my way!!!

Hopefully my cert will not be next week but rather the week after to give my palm enough time to heel. I will not bench the day before my cert but rather take it off to heel.
