FrankyBoy
09/03/2005 Mega Workout with honk, who visited me Those young guys, total workout time : 10h including two meals. All we did: Grippers: Max attempts, max reps, choker closers and strapholds Sledge Levers (here I got a new PR with levering a 6kg hammer strict, contest style) Fat Bar: A.A. DO Lockouts (132.5kg), RT, Clays RH, 60mm dumbell Block Work: Blobette (17kg lefty and 20kg righty, both PRs) , 20 kg on a wooden blob simulator, IM PGB, different types of wooden PGBs, two hand pinch on euro setup) Vertical Bar Little Big Horn R-Ring OHL TTK work ... Bending (failed on a 6" Red, like 100°, bent two Reds in a row instead, DUed a lot of stuff, like 5.5"x1/4 round CRS and some blues, reverse bent the 5.5"x1/4" round CRS and blues) Besides this some classical stuff: Bench Press Floor Press Lockouts Squats DL Lockouts Strict Overhead One Hand Presses Overhead Press Lockouts Did I miss something? burkhardmacht
Sounds like you guys had a good day and a lot of fun! Good work on the Blobette Frank!
FrankyBoy
09/04/2005 Only one day after my super session with honk my expectations weren't that high for my gripper session. And I was soooo right. Sets on the BBM: Lefty: 6,5,7 Righty: 30,20,20 Those were evil sets for both hands. Previous (and still) PRs were 14 for the left and 38 for the right. So my lefty suffered a lof more from saturdays workout. But that makes sense since I did some events (eg OHL) only with my left.

FrankyBoy
Was a bit lazy lately concerning updating the log lately. Mainly due to my chaotic training. I'm doing now a lot of squats with my new Powerrack. Got 135kg in the A.A. lockout. Lifted 32.5 kg on a 50mm wooden PGB (+5kg PR) lefty. Tried the OH DL thumbless with an oly bar and ... I'm crap with that. Even 85kg are tough for me and that righty!! Today I did a little show in my company, some DU and some DO bending. FrankyBoy
Ah, you were talking about the squats. I do the reps without any rest. However, sometimes I'm doing a single short rest (<5secs) close to the end of the set and do another 2-3 reps then. Squatting has a lot of cardio work for me. FrankyBoy
Two crappy trainings days 09/10/2005 Morning Squats: 8,10 x 72.5kg Evening Session: Squat: 10x72.5kg BBM: Left: 8,6 Right 30,23 Felt a bit dizzy hat day, it was extremely hot and my head ached. 09/11/2005 Morning Squats: 12x72.5kg Evening Session: Squats: 17x72.5kg Did some OHL Lockouts. Feels still very uncomfortable for me. Hard to keep the balance. Bending DU: 2x6.0mm, 1xBlue, 0x5"x1/4" CRS round Rev (Old T.): 2x6.0mm", 1xY Rev (Head Level): 2x6.0mm then I switched hands and did the same again: Rev (Old T.): 2x6.0mm", 1xY Rev (Head Level): 2x6.0mm DO: 1xBlue with IM Pads, Failed on a 7" FBBC??? Afterwards some Pinch Worked my way up to 30kg on a 50mm wooden block lefty and 35 righty. Failed on the 17.5kg Blobette again lefty and and the 22kg (miss-loading ) Blobette righty. Only good lift was a One-hand pinch of 35kg on the euro setup and I could break 37.5kg off the ground.

FrankyBoy
Thanks Flo. I was using the maximum width of 64mm.

DO DL from 10" with straps 1x170kg 0x200kg Great work Franky! What does "from 10" mean? Is that from the floor with the 137.5kg and the 10" is the height of the bar off the floor when the plates are resting flat on the floor?
FrankyBoy
Thanks Ben, I'm doing lockouts out of my powerrack from the lowest position. 10" is just the total elevation of the plates as if they were standing on 10" high boxes.
