Not sure what went wrong this morning. Could've been no dinner last night. Crappy night sleep. Bodyweight is up 234lb.

Maybe it was just the pre-workout or wearing my favorite pair of workout crocs. But it was a good day in the gym felt strong.

Precisely why you workout everyday, regardless of how you feel.

The only way to make this better is to have another brother with you as you half the amount of crap workouts.  Etc, etc.  The most joy I’ve ever had (and gains) is when I’ve shared it with like-minded peeps.

That’s exactly one of the reasons I’m so eager to start armwrestling. Would be nice to have some friends to train with and motivate each other.

Good luck, especially if you live in a super liberal area like me (Washington, DC area).  There’s specific pockets of dedicated peeps, this ain’t one of them.  An hour+ drive each way where I live

Dont care though, table is on the way.  Gonna make my own club and go to local events.

Arm Wrestling as a noob and a guy in his 50s is a bit scary, to be honest.  Very easy to fark up the elbow.  I’ve done okay at practices, but they’ve taken it easy on me

gonna give it a shot anyway

There’s a great club near me.  I’m in Massachusetts super liberal and the club near me is outside of Cambridge which is the mega center of the universe.

there’s some good AW dudes in my area. RVJ, Jerry Cadorette..

good luck I hope you can start your own club. If I’m down that way I’ll bring the beer.

There’s not many real men left in this world, to be honest.  People only care about themselves now and the internet only exacerbates that.  Sad days ahead.

I’ve met a few good ones here (in person, too).  Great place to send a young boy or girl who wants to get strong.
