1stCoC Posted March 11, 2013 Author Share Posted March 11, 2013 Even after the competition every competitor tried a "hand" at good old time throw down lifts in the Sorinex booth including a 633 lb. single arm deadlift by Andrew. All gave back their time to show the young an old what grip is all about. Thousands tried the grip Dino and got to touch the pieces that were lifted on the stage. All men have been contacted to receive the prize money and bonus equipment credit to be able to continue their training for next year. Any videos are welcome to add to the collection of the ones posted already. Competitors success in most events were in a bell curve type level of plotting adding to the excitement so no one was successful at doing everything.. I was very interested how tough the Fatman Blobs were, the Inch, chain loaded anvil, and even the wrist roller. It ain't easy. Burke and Felix and several other fine strongmen were chomping at the bit to compete on both days perhaps next year this will come to pass. Last to mention the " new guys" this year brought so much energy, heart and skill to the event it raised the whole experience to a whole new level! R.
