Tim71
Well once again my attaining my goals is way out of proportion. I passed my short term 1/2 inch goal and went to the mid and got the 1/2 inch by 12 inch tonight. Beat my old PR of 16 inches. Tim

gazza
revised mine tooshort: shiny bastard (in a month) medium: shiny hexabastard (before September 1st) long: 3/8" shiny Liam If you were to get just 7mms and 8mms stainless and drillrod nothing else and as much as you can afford and just train on that and also use some for isos i bet you would kill the short and med goals quite easilly. Tim71
Revised goals once again: Short Term: Hexabastard, Big hexabastard, Big bastard, Huge bastard and stainless steel 5/16 by 7 inch that I picked up that's slightly easier than a shiny. Braced: 9.5 inch by 1/2 inch HRS, 14 inch by 1/2 inch G2 bolt (tough one), 15 inch by 9/16 HRS, 24 inch by 5/8 inch, 42 inch by 3/4 inch long bar (A36 variety), #2 diamond classic horseshoes and find and bend a tougher 10 inch wrench. Mid Term: Huge Hexabastard, grand bastard, shiny bastard and 11/32 CRS. Braced: 9 inch by 1/2 inch HRS, 9/16 by 14 inch HRS, 5/8 by 21 inch HRS, and 3/4 by 40 inch. Also, tough 1/2 inch by 12 inch G2 bolt I have and St Croix #1 lite (not ultra lite, these are much harder) and #1 diamond bronco. Long Term: Big shiny and grand hexabastard and Mag bastard. 5/16 by 7 inch G5 bolt and Steel works 3/8 by 7 inch CRS. And KOAB. Maybe 9mm CRS if I can ever find it. Braced: 8 inch by 1/2 inch HRS, 12 inch by 9/16, and 5/8 by 18 inches and 3/4 by 36 inches. 7/8 by 4 foot. #2 St Croix horseshoes (full 3/8 inch thick ones) consistantly and start work on the draft shoes. Ultimate goal: MOAB and everything similiar. Braced: 9/16 by 8 inch HRS and 12 inch by 5/8 inch HRS - these two may be physcially impossible but we'll see. 10 inch by 1/2 inch G5 bolt braced. 1 inch by 4 foot bar any way possible with only bodily contact. I don't care if I'm standing on my head for that one. #5 draft shoe into a heart like in Dennis's collection and #6 and #8 shoes bent. I keep obtaining my goals out of proportion. It's hard to find time to work on every area of bending all the time. I haven't done long bar in a while now and I'm not real sure I could still bend the 3/4 by 44 inch that I've done. wscorpion
I started bending not even 3 months ago, so it's very difficult for me to give short, mid or longterm goals since i haven't got a clue of my progression yet.But i'll give it a go: short term: 6" Red Nail (with IM pads if possible) for longer terms i don't know the strengths of other (for me) available pieces yet, so it's difficult to tell. Revision: Short term: - 6" bastard DO - 6" G8 Reverse - 13" 1/2" HRS Braced - 7" 10mm HRS DO Mid term: - 6" 10mm HRS DO - Red Nail Reverse - 12" 1/2" HRS Braced Long term: - 6" 10mm Square HRS DO - 6" Red Nail Reverse - 10" 1/2" HRS Braced
