Tim71
I'd like to hear what your goals are. I'm especially interested in what your ultimate goal would be. I'm talking about what's humanly possible but the odds are against ever acheiving it. Whats possible though not railroad spikes in the teeth stuff. Also, what are your short term, mid-term and long term (that you probably will get) and lastly the ultimate, "wow if I could bend that" goal. My current PR is a black "JH" G5 which is noticibly harder than the triangle ones I have: My short term goals is the Grade 8 / grade 9/ 5/16 hot rolled. My mid goals would be a 70d nail I have / Red nail FBBC 5/16. My long-term goal is a 5/16 Grade 5 bolt. And my ultimate, hope I get it goal, is a 80d nail unbraced. I have a brand of 80d that is extra tough and looks mean just sitting there. To me those look absolutely awesome when bent, which isn't very often. I'd even settle for braced on this one. Also, a really tough 10" wrench would be in there somewhere too. And I'd love to bend a 7/8" by 48" long bar. Let's hear what yours are! guru20
Its hard for me to accurately state goals, im still feeling around in my bending potential. Short term (1 to 3 months) id like to dominate the red and certify through IM when im home on leave. Mid Term (say 6 months to a year) id like to bend a 5" red, that might be a little lofty though...but i think ill be able to get it. Long term (say 5 years) who knows... the king, the mother...anything that seems humanly impossible to me now .

Man I need to slow down and read better - the first thing I saw was to bend a piece of 2.7" x 5/16" Square or less - I thought what the heck - less than 2.7" - impossible. Then I caught on that it was goal #2 period. Wow, that was an "oldtimers" moment for sure.

gazza
ust been reading John Beattys post on his new T-Shirts and Certificates and in it he makes reference to a few people ordering the KOAB bars this has really got me fired up to think how far we have all come these past 6mths hell i feel like attacking a Fantastic Shiny Bastard I am redefining my goals for this year they are as follows :- 1. To try and stay injury free whilst hitting PRs. Med Term the next few months 1. Keep hitting Fantastic Shinys till one goes down [FBBC]. 2. A pair of short g5s [FBBC]. Longer Term after i conquer the above 1. 5/16" x 7" Squire CRS or Stainless [FBBC]. 2. 3/8" x 7" 6.5" and 6" [FBBC] Stainless Round. Thats all for now but eventually if i stay injury free a 3/8" x 7" Stainless Hex!
