What Is Your Untimate Goal In Bending?

Recommended Posts

1. Short term = Finally bending IM-Red, FBBC-Bastard, 70d-USA by the end of 2007.

2. Medium Range = Bending odd objects such as 10" wrench

2. Long Term = John Brookfield endurance challenge, bending an entire box of 60d nails, or beyond, if the body holds together.

Longer Term after i conquer the above

1. 5/16" x 7" Squire CRS or Stainless [FBBC].

Don't say the 5/16 sq is harder than the 6.5 stainless you bent???????????????????

Its not harder its just i only had one piece and thats bent and i want to cert on an fbbc piece just for the hell of it.

Mats,

I'm about to add horseshoes to my routine once again. I've bent a couple but I'm very hit and miss with them so my goals for horseshoes are:

Short: Anything consistantly maybe a O diamond or such or maybe lites

Medium: #1 or similiar classic or lite St croix

long: #2 St croix regular shoe

Ultimate #4 draft horseshoe into a heart.

Also, maybe a partial or "S" into a #6

My ultimate goal is to cert on the FBBC horseshoes

Hey Tim! Always great to hear from you

How did you bend that Diamond shoe in your gallery? Did you brace it on your thigh like Pat does on his videos?

My long term goal is to bend a 1.5" railroadspike in my teeth ;)

Right on Rob. Set those goals high! That way they're worth something when you get them. When's your birthday?

Fantastic work Thor! Hex is hard stuff.

Sorry Mats somehow I missed your question. The horseshoe I bend placing it on the side of my thigh and pulling acrossed. I honestly had never seen anyone else do it this way when I did it. I was just frustrated trying to bend it on the top of my leg like Big Steve does so I was playing around and finally ended up trying that and I got it moving. Bent a #1 of the same type for a hardware store owner a few days later and haven't bent another shoe since. I need to work on it much more and to me getting it moving is the hardest part.

Did you see the railroad spike in my gallery? Needless to say I didn't bend it. I actually think the hydrolic machine bent it. Pretty neat to see people's reactions when I break it out though.

Tim

You missed my question, but still answered it :D

I bent the FBBC horseshoes in front of my chest 5 minutes ago. Only using wriststrength. Felt pretty good about it.

Just pulled the ends apart.

So my next goal would be certing on those darn FBBC nails. I'm still waiting for them :D
