Geo
Wow Well done Paul. I go away for a while and you raise your game by a fair bit! Well Ive moved house and am in the new place. Moving was a lot more knackering than last time. We filled up two 3.5 ton box vans instead of when we moved before when we only filled one of the vans! Go back to school next week as well (in the evenings after work) and Ive got to do the place up Ive moved into So Im going to be busy. Managed to get two good grip workouts in this week, today and Tuesday. Elbow has bothered me a little lately . Probably been ignoring my extensors silly boy + also the heavy benching Im doing at the moment. So I went down to office world and bought some of their thickest rubber bands. Ive been using them today so... Tuesday #3 Overcrush 4 sets RB300 Neg -This gripper is definately harder than my Elite. 2 sets Super Elite 2 sets RB330 I need to start using this gripper more its a good strength for negs 1 set All the negatives in this workout were done to absolute failure. Saturday #3 4kg strap hold with steel rule and chain first set 1 second 2nd set got it 7 seconds! PR Elite attempts MM set 3 attempts 2 more attempts at 4kg strap hold with the #3 The first set I thought was closed when I turned my hand to verify It sprung open a little so I dont know. Geo
Decided to add in reverse wrist curls into my routine. Using the Grip machine really hammers the flexors and my extensors although they get worked whilst I am at work this is simply not enough. Need to start adding strength to these muscles as well as the flexors if I am to continue gripping. Elbow bothered me again a bit at the weekend which is what has brought me to this conclusion. Reverse wrist curls Nothing crazy tonight as it is the first session focusing on these. 20kg on the bar 5 sets of 12 reps

Geo
Sounds good Paul. Ribs are the best I was supposed to go over to Mobsterones place and train on Saturday along with him and Steve mcinless but something came up and I couldnt make it Trained Deadlift today at the gym and whilst I was there I bought two 20kg plates from the gym owner for a cheapish price. They are standard plates with the 1" hole so they can go on my grip machine., However I have been telling myself for ages that I better start training my pinch so this is the other reason I bought them. I trained pinch a bit today and really enjoyed the different workout that my hands got. Elite attmpts 2 V close #3 cc set attempt. 2mm out Elite forced close and hold 3 sets Grip machine 2 hand negs - Just because I had the extra weight 120kg 160kg 180kg! Pinch 2 20kg plates one hand pinch training 4 sets These are done using two fingers of the other hand to get the plates up in the air. I use as little help from the other hand as possible. Let go with the other hand and try a hold.

lifesnotfair
2x 20kg plates assisted with pinky and thumb of other hand Now that you mention this, I'm curious as to what have the strong pinch-guys lifted with thumb+pinky finger... Maybe thumb + pinky/ring to make it fair.

Im sure others must do this and it would be interesting to see what weights go up by some of the really good pinchers when training this way.
