Real sick over the weekend and finally feeling better. Choker closes went real easy so I'll back the clamps off a bit next time. It felt really good to close them even though it was only a little wider than parallel. Stronger than I thought I would be after the weekend.

One more week and its back to the doctor for my leg. I have a real improved range of pain free motion so its looking good. Gotta keep stretching it so it doesn't tighten up on me. Hope I can say goodbye to the crutches soon.

Grippers felt real good today! Whole bunch of PR's. I figured I would just keep backing the clamp off until I missed. My hands were pretty tired by the point. The first eight on the right slammed shut with a loud click!

Grippers felt good again tonite. Doing weights beforehand really helps. BBSM feels good hope its not just getting seasoned!

Pinch

Played around with 3 and 4 10's

- then added 2.5, 5, 6, 10, and 15 which I missed with the left

Bending

2 - 6 x 3/16 sq

Once again just kinked 7 x 1/4 rnd

It's been three weeks since I tried bending, didn't realize it was that long. It's getting pretty damn discouraging that I can't seem to get anything bigger than 3/16. Yeeeeeesshh!

Crossed the fine line between excellent warmup and overdoing it. Last time the benches got the blood flowing and hands felt great. For some reason I decided to do pullups also which was too much. Hands felt real lethargic. Live and learn right?

No real warmup so the grippers felt a but sluggish. Might be doing too much choker stuff, sweep is getting a little weak. I gotta make a conscious effort to train no set a bit more.

Going to train more pinch and thick bar to see if it helps out my grippers

I need to get more consistant with the weights. If I put more thought and concentration into them I should get more out of them. Leg is holding steady. It may be 2 or 3 months before I can directly train them though :(

Felt pretty good today and decided to go for a rep day. Gotta get off my butt and get some chalk as my hand has been starting to slide on the grippers from time to time. Hands get too damn sweaty.

As a side note I should mention that the 10's have a slight lip on them so it is not a true pinch.

Felt pretty good even after a long day in the heat. All gripper misses forced shut and held.

Do you have any filed grippers to work with? My opinion is that BTR is more effective method than choker stuff.

Thanks loads guys. That is just about the only thing I haven't tried yet. File my #2 and it will be just a little longer till I can close it with left. Thanks again!

Worked outside landscaping today so I didn't really need a warmup. Pinch felt strong today. Progress with the left is stalled on the #2. Gonna file down the #1 and #2 for BTR closes in the next couple of days.

Don't keep up with the log much although I am still at it. I'll start posting just on the grip stuff.

I choked the BBSM to 3/4" and got 8 strong singles but missed the last two - thats with the right

Lefty I choked the #2 to 3/4" and got it for 6 singles then failed on 4.

Hands had alot of work today. Turns out scraping paint all day is a good hand workout!

Could only manage 5 forced negs on the BBSM righty tonite. Got 5 strong #2 closes with the left though.

Also did wrist curls and reverse wrist curls.
