FrankyBoy
Thanks guys. However, Flo that was not a full DL with that weight. When doing a weight close to my max I just hold it close to the ground. 06/16/05 Extensors/Fun/OHL Finger Extensors 2 min Hot Water bath 1x50x White Rubber Band 2 min Hot Water bath 1x50x Green Rubber Band Wrist Extensors (Rev. Wrist Curls) L: 1x14x9kg, 1x6x9kg R: 1x15x9kg, 1x10x9kg (I changed the position for the 2nd set to make the reps stricter) Fun Section Snapped an IM Yellow with Leather Pads in about 14min during a chat session with David Horne. Not bad, actually I didn't think I'm able to break anything but my left arm didn't feel too bad during that exercise. I used Davids style. OHL Thats my problematic event since I can't go through the plan I got from David. After a couple of reps with easier weights my right middle finger feels strained at the middle knuckle. So what to do? I decided for volume and started with a very light weight and repped til failure or til the pain got to severe. 50kg L:1x50 R: 1x30 (pain began at rep 10, due to the light weight I could continue til rep 30 before I had to stop) 60kg L: 1x40 R:1x30 (pain began at rep 12, fought again til rep 30) 70kg L: 1x25 R:1x30 (no pain during the reps, pain came after the set, thats ok) 80kg L: 1x20 R:1x15 (pain began at rep 10, increasing significantly with each rep) Hands are shining reddishly now. They feel really good. No pain at all. Only if I try to make a fist, the skin in the palm burns like hell. And thats what I appreciate. FrankyBoy
Besides this I tried to break a G5. ← And what was the result?? How long did it take? ← Well, I worked about half an hour with that thing. I guess 100-200 moves back and forth. Not even the slightest crack visible. But good cardio. FrankyBoy
06/17/06 Bad idea to work 30 minutes with that G5 yesterday. Foreams are still sore. Grippers Warmup L:S,T,#1 R:S,T,#1,#2 Training L: 1x#2 0xRB210 (1/16") 18x#1 PR 2x#2 PR 3xBBM PR R: 1xeasy #3 0xGM (1/8) that was the point I knew it would make no sense to work on heavy singles today 20x#2 20xBBM I'm more that happy with that double on the #2 considering the fact that I couldn't close that gripper even before the paralization of the left hand. Pinch Calibrated my pinch apparatus again. Holds with gloves Warmup 31,5 51,5 61,5 Training 72,5kgx4s 70kgx0,5s (just broke off the floor) 65kgx6s 60kgx11s 55kgx16s obviously its better to use 5kg decrements. FrankyBoy
06/17/06 Evening session Volume Session DU Kink Did a full 12lbs package of 6mm common nails (130 pieces) in about two hours. I cut the heads of 20 bolts at a time in the basement and bent them upstairs before a mirror to check my form on each bend. 3 out of 10 were done using IM Pads, 7 using leather pads. Each nail was kinked to at least 80°, most between 90° and 100°. The first 50 weren' too hard. Then the pain came. At around nail 80 the blister tore open and I taped it at nail 100. The last 20 nails especially those 6 out of them done with IM Pads were very hard, each of them close to my limit. But now I´m very happy that I went through it. FrankyBoy
06/19/05 Vbar, OHL & traps work Before the todays workout I cut the blister I got from yesterdays volume bending. Hand Then I taped it and started my workout VBAR 40kg 1xL, 1xR 60kg 1xL, 1xR 80kg 1xL, 1xR 100kg 1xL, 1xR 110kg 1xL, 1xR 115kg 0xL, 1XR 112,5kg 1xL 117,5kg 0xR OHL Still focussing on volume work to adapt my right middle finger 60kg 39xL, 25xR 80kg 25xL, 20xR 100kg 15xL, 10xR Not bad at all, I felt my right middle finger but it was no real pain any more. For saftety issues I didn't max out on the rep count with my right. Traps Work DL + Shrugs Since I have no powerrack I have to DL first if I want to do shrugs. 50kg : 1DL + 5 reps 90kg : 1DL + 5 reps 130kg : 1DL + 4 reps Obiviously the traps were already tired. All in all not a bad workout considering my monster bending session yesterday and my torn right hand. Afterwards I did a 3 minutes hot water bath and a 5 minutes bath in icy water.
