pdoire
You crushed your BBSM already??? With a 1 1/8 set?? Great job DLK!!! Those negs with the ISG will make your hands ache like never before, you are straining your ligaments and tendons severely...but when they adapt to it, be ready for even more PR's!! DLK
Thanks pdiore. I was really close with the 1 1/4" set but no worries it will come with time.

You are making some very small changes in your choker settings. My PDA choker allows basically only 2 settings.
DLK
Yeah its a hose clamp. Easy to change and take off. A little tough to put on. Does the type of choker make a difference? Edited December 14, 2004 by DLK
underdawg
Good looking stuff man. The hose clamps are great, you can microload a gripper with them. You're in for some big PR's in the near future. How's the pinching coming along?
DLK
Thanks. I haven't done any since week. I'll probably so some tommorow and the RT. I need to get a #3 instead of the HG300 first so I'll have my goal to try it now and then.

Does the type of choker make a difference? ← No, The hose clamp offers you more flexibility... The HG300 is between the BBSM and the #3...but at this point maybe you could just chase the #3. DLK
I will get them both, for now I think the #3.
DLK
I ordered the #3 today. I was going to do another workout but I think since I just started it is too much. I don't think I can even close the #2 right now. What should I do go ahead or wait another day or two?

pdoire
Volume is good you may need some OC's and Negs with a heavier gripper.

pdoire
My #3 should be here mid-next week. I do have an ISG. ← Use the 2 for overcrushes squeeze the crap out of it for time, when that gets too easy either straphold with it or move to the BBSM even closing it in a clamp..close it and try to hold it ...(after the #2 can be held for more than15-20 secs)...Use the ISG on a setting of 300+ for negatives (8,12)=

underdawg
Good looking stuff man, you're getting real close. Don't go crazy with the overcrushes at first, they can be brutal. You may want to consider strap holds too, they will really help you with the close portion.
DLK
Thanks. Should I just do one set of OC's? I will have to try strapholds sometime. Hopefully I can close this SM within the next few weeks and move on to the #3 which should be here tommorow I think.
mossman
dude, DLK, i would like to see your workouts...let me know how you get on with good mornings.....im starting these again, to help me prepare for stones...my best was 5 singles with 230....i plan on hitting at least 275 this time
underdawg
Two sets should be fine for the overcrushes, just go all out on them. In time you can start adding sets. You're off to a blazing start man, I know we'll see some impressive stuff out of you soon.

DLK
Mossman, I have just started doing GMs again. I did about 10 weeks of westside and it actually made my maxes goes down. I was at 325 bench, 430 squat, and 510-515 deadlift. Now I am back up to 350 bench, 400+ squat, and within the next 3 weeks 500+ dead again. I don't know exactlly where my squat is but within the next few weeks I will see and it will be better that before. And with the next few weeks of GMs my deadlift with be at least 500 again. I am going to experiment with my lifts in the next few months so we'll see what happens. Here is how my GM workout went yesterday: 12-21-04 GM with close stance 45-8 135-3 225-3 275-3 300-1 320-1 PR 340-1 PR 355-1 PR GHR 70-8 115-8 160-8 Pulldowns 45-10 95-10 140-8 165-
