You crushed your BBSM already???

With a 1 1/8 set?? Great job DLK!!!

Those negs with the ISG will make your hands ache like never before, you are

straining your ligaments and tendons severely...but when they adapt to it,

be ready for even more PR's!!

Thanks pdiore.  I was really close with the 1 1/4" set but no worries it will come with time.

Are you using a hose clamp? You are making some very small changes

in your choker settings. My PDA choker allows basically only 2 settings.

Good looking stuff man. The hose clamps are great, you can microload a gripper with them. You're in for some big PR's in the near future. How's the pinching coming along?

Thanks. I haven't done any since week. I'll probably so some tommorow and the RT. I need to get a #3 instead of the HG300 first so I'll have my goal to try it now and then.

Yeah its a hose clamp.  Easy to change and take off.  A little tough to put on.  Does the type of choker make a difference?

No, The hose clamp offers you more flexibility... The HG300 is

between the BBSM and the #3...but at this point maybe you could just chase the

#3.

I ordered the #3 today. I was going to do another workout but I think since I just started it is too much. I don't think I can even close the #2 right now. What should I do go ahead or wait another day or two?

Not that good of a day today. My hands were a little sore still and did bench earlier. I guess it will just take a few weeks or so to get used to. Untill then I'll just push throught the soreness. Does the volume and everything else look good so far?

Volume is good you may need some OC's and Negs with a heavier gripper.

My #3 should be here mid-next week.  I do have an ISG.

Use the 2 for overcrushes squeeze the crap out of it for time, when that

gets too easy either straphold with it or move to the BBSM even closing

it in a clamp..close it and try to hold it ...(after the #2 can be held for more than15-20 secs)...Use the ISG

on a setting of 300+ for negatives (8,12)=303

The negatives felt easier this time and alot more volume too. For some reason I can't get the gripper set in my left hand and it is holding me back. It keeps slipping and its pissing me off. But really worried about right hand so oh well.

I am finally close to closing that damn SM! My sweep is good but my crush is lacking. I think those choker at a close set helped out. First time with the overcrushes and they felt decent. But I burn out easy and the right hand didn't fare well. Only a few seconds with #2. Negatives felt easier with right last time but felt better with left this time. I am going to up them next time. On another note my back and hamstrings are killing me from some GMs earlier. I don't post my other workouts here but could if anyone would like to see them.

Good looking stuff man, you're getting real close. Don't go crazy with the overcrushes at first, they can be brutal. You may want to consider strap holds too, they will really help you with the close portion.

Thanks. Should I just do one set of OC's? I will have to try strapholds sometime. Hopefully I can close this SM within the next few weeks and move on to the #3 which should be here tommorow I think.

Two sets should be fine for the overcrushes, just go all out on them. In time you can start adding sets. You're off to a blazing start man, I know we'll see some impressive stuff out of you soon.

Mossman, I have just started doing GMs again. I did about 10 weeks of westside and it actually made my maxes goes down. I was at 325 bench, 430 squat, and 510-515 deadlift. Now I am back up to 350 bench, 400+ squat, and within the next 3 weeks 500+ dead again. I don't know exactlly where my squat is but within the next few weeks I will see and it will be better that before. And with the next few weeks of GMs my deadlift with be at least 500 again. I am going to experiment with my lifts in the next few months so we'll see what happens. Here is how my GM workout went yesterday:

First workout with the new #3 and it killed me. Got it as far as an older #3 I tried before and after my tries with the SM. So maybe I am getting stronger. And I am getting concistant (can't spell for shit) with

the SM. Hopefully I can close it with a week or two.
