The more I look into it, the better I think they will be as a stepping stone. I am wondering about the surface/paint? Is it harder?
    • Alawadhi
Thanks for the report @DAVE101 . So the older yorks are a fatman blobzilla and these are the next gen blobzilla. Interested in buying few for a stepping stone!

If I could include music with the picture it’d be “Sweet Victory” 😂 it was a tough start and it damn near made me pass out but once it started moving it was over 💪🏻😜 what a difference going at it fresh makes lol

Really interesting. This might sound crazy but is it possible they purposely made them like this to be easier for blobs? I know they have gotten more popular lately but I can't imagine grip being popular enough to warrant these kind of design changes

Everything about these dumbbells are even more "Legacy" than the v1 legacies. That is, like v1 the heads are taller and thinner than the original roundheads, but this is exaggerated on v2. The handles bumped up from 32 mm to 37 mm (or 1.5 inches) - my oldschool 100s are 27 mm (about 1 1/16"). The texture is very coarse. Pound for pound, I expect this to be the easiest shape yet. For some reason my scale doesn't show the numbers well on camera, but they are: V1 Legacy: 128.5 lbs  V2 Legacy: 133.9 lbs I found this surprising, because of all the Legacies I've weighed, only one was ever OVER the stated weight. Most are under, and by a good margin. My 140s/150s are all 5-8 lbs underweight.
