I don’t know maybe I always train grip between sets of lifts. Grippers are weird though I have days where I am way weaker and days where I am way stronger. When you are doing a regular workout of full-body compound lifts like powerlifts, your heart rate will elevate, your autonomic nervous system switches from parasympathetic to sympathetic (you'll have more adrenaline), and yes you will get more amped up to deliver higher output from your CNS.
