The other challenge is to get the next grippers of the ladder, those would be rare ratings, 155, 160, 165

Nice work man! Strong close. Are you doing grippers 3 times a week right now?

That’s awesome man. I have never even thought to do that kind of frequency I see it’s not typically many sets and some days are heavier and some lighter. I would be very interested to try something similar I enjoy hitting grippers more than anything else.

Yes! I never thought of it either, but I am being coached by Sam Parker and he made me work with this scheme, and its working really well 😁

That’s good your making progress. I have been stuck a while now, less that 1mm from closing my 165rgc 3.5. Maybe I should mess around with frequency.

Maybe you are ready for MM1, would you try to attempt that level?

Yeah I think I’ll give that a shot soon. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Congrats on all your P.Rs. that 152lbs is amazing.

Also 50 reps with a 2 is insane..have you noticed any forearms or hand muscle growth with all the high rep grippers?

That is excellent. Im not surprised with how strong you are now plus all the frequency. You will be smashing 160 range grippers soon.

I notice you dont list any gripper warm ups, do you just go straight into heavy grippers?

I don't list them becouse it's a little long but I warmup with:

1. Bike ride through the city 20 min

2. 4-6 supersets of push ups/bulgarian split squats + extensor bands (20-30 reps per hand)

3. Gripper warmups: I do singles with all my collection supersetted with extensor bands until I reach the top weight.

I pass through the sport, guide, trainer, #1, #1.5, #2, ghp5 (114), #2,5(119), ghp6/xinyi wanjia 225(both rated 130).

And then I jump into the goal gripper, which is the #3 (139) these days.

Ok cool thanks. Its always interesting to see how others warm up. I dont list mine ethier but i do pushups and resistance band and kettlbell swings, things like that before my grip work. Its important.

Its brilliant seeing your progress, the 150 RGC range is above what most achieve so i cant wait to see how far you go with them in a year or 2.

When I go to my parent's house, I have my squat stands and barbell so my warmup is a squat single. It wakes me up like no other exercise, but I can't do it every week.

Thanks for your words Paul, I'd love to get another certification, and try to go for the next milestone, a coc #3,5 😁

Squats are gold. Maybe the greatest of all exercises. You WILL get there and close the 3.5, its just a matter of when? All in good time my friend.
