Does anyone no who has the fastest rednail cert time?

You've got to be towards the top of the list.

Fumbling turned Wojo's 6 second bend into an 8 second bend.

Aaron's was around 7 seconds...if you start at the first real hit.

I think Chris Rider was around 8-9 seconds.

These are the ones I know off the top of my head.

I don't think anyone's really kept records on it...but JT's 4 second (non cert obv) Red still sets the standard for ridiculous.

Definitely up there man! I think Adam and Daniel were both around 7 seconds too, and obviously JT destroying it like a coat hanger.

The fastest one of my three was done in just under 6 seconds. Don't have it one video anymore, don't ask how I lost the video :glare:

I know there are other guys on the board training for the red nail cert. I don't want this thread to die, so if your training for the red post your progress here. I want to see some other guys fight and claw their way to the certification. It doesn't matter what level you are currently at.

Hello all!

I have been bending for about a week, and I decided to join the race for the red nail!

A week ago my box of 60D's came in and I couldn't wait to start trying. I thought for sure a 60D would be too much for me since I just started, but I was able to bend one my first try :) I have always had naturally strong hands and wrists (yes, even though I'm 6'5 and 150 LBS). It will take me a long time to get to red, I'm sure, but it will be a fun journey.

Here is a video of my 60D bend:

I would love to hear any pointers.

I can't wait to order my kit and start! I will keep bending my 60D's in the meantime.

I will keep you all posted with my progress.

Awesome. Great to see you posting here. nice job with the 60D. You are going to want to master the double overhand technique to bend the biggest steel possible. Check out this video which does a great job of breaking the technique down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzy6s2T3-J8&list=FL8W75D4BFlzdkDmhHaAnCwQ&index=2
