Exactly! I sure hope so. So far, bench and squat have gone really well - 3 for 3 would be nice!

Didn't do any more than the basics - it was a long stressful weekend (starting after WSH of course!) and RJ didn't want to give me any excuses for not being healthy for the meet next month. And, yep, squats are still going strong. :)

Saturday, 9/18:

Deadlift

135 x 3

185 x 3

225 x 8!! Seven straight through then one more a few seconds later. :)

Wasn't focused very well but RJ helped to get my head in the gym for a while. Had to cut the workout way short - sorry to say I had a family illness to deal with - but both working out and Ryan helped to lighten things up.

Thanks - I was surprised at the DL reps since those are usually not my strong suit.

I appreciate the well-wishes too (sadly, it's a bedside vigil now).

Thanks, Chris. I'm okay; just waiting for things to move along as they will. I don't question the process - it is what it is. I was wondering if you were planning on making it in Jan. Congrats on that new baby!

Glad to see your getting on track and staying positive ;)

Yes, it seems that things are coming back together. Hope to hit some PRs here in a month or so. Thanks for the support.

Good to see you still hammering away at it!

Oh yeah. Not bored yet! :D

Sat, 10/9:

Deads - Rack pulls just below knees

135 x 3

185 x 1

225 x 1

275 x 1

295 x 0

add light bands (-20lbs at bottom):

295 x 1

315 x 1

335 x 0

320 x 1 !!!!! - So, apparently, I can handle 300 at lockout. Now, I just have to get it off the floor... :)

Seated Calf Raises

4 plates x 10 x 4

Hamstring Curls

1 set to det max (150)

(75% max) 110 x 10 x 2

I was sick to stomach all day yesterday so sure didn't expect a great DL day today. It felt really good, actually. Working toward a 300lbs raw DL!
