Thanks Bill! This SE is one of my favorite grippers! Thanks again for allowing me to own this beauty! One good thing about it being displayed in my museum is that you'll always know where she rests! BTW, can my Grip Museum be the official Grip Museum for the Grip Board? I'll explain why I ask later. Got to get to work!
EricMilfeld
rated some more grippers with Eric today. Ironmind Trainer- 59 lbs Elite- 160 lbs GHP8- 163 lbs GHP8- 172 lbs We stumbled upon something we had never seen before today with already seasoned grippers. The GHP8 #172 Tommy mentions here I originally calibrated at 180 after seasoning. Since then Tommy has used it for normal grip training. Today I calibrated it at 174 after we gave it 50 leg crushes. And after 100 more crushes it hit 172, at which point we stopped. Curious and very surprised by this, we took a GHP 151 of mine and gave it 50 crushes and then attained a calibration rating of 148. Not an apples to apples comparison, but after that we did the same with the Trainer and it was unaffected by 100 leg crushes. We can't really draw any broad sweeping conclusions at this point without doing the same with more GHP grippers and other brands of the same spring diameter. That being said, I have leg crushed various other grippers in the past after original seasoning with no noticeable calibration effects.

Yes, it is. And I forgot to mention that with my GHP 1 rated at 47 pounds it stayed the same after 100 crushes.
macaz
I chest crushed the GHP4, 5 and 6 a while back with before and after ratings. The ratings stayed the same. Seems my GHP8 has lost 6 or so pounds. I wonder if it is an 8 thing? Any one up for 100 chest crushed on the GHP9 and 10?
