kilkkinen
That's crazy. Can you imagine getting that on cert day? BOOM! Do you oil the gripper before rating? Yes, if the customer allow it.

anwnate
This was my first time doing a RGC but it looks like the numbers are falling well in line with the range list at GSS. IM #1 filed - 87 IM #2 filed - 113 IM #2.5 filed - 135 GHP #7 - 150 IM #3 - 159.5 GHP #8 - 165.5 IM #3.5 - 187 IM #4 - 218 Kind of nice to have the GHP's fall somewhat in-between my current grippers, but I imagine that could just be luck of the draw. mightyjoe
Tried my NEW RGC Calibrator Rich made me today! My first grippers to rate on the NEW RGC are as follows: Monkey = 39.0 lbs. Handle Spread = 2.230" Chimpanzee = 64.4 lbs. HS = 2.405" Orangutan = 82.8 lbs. HS = 2.315" Gorilla = 97.4 lbs. HS = 2.208" King Kong = 123.8 lbs. HS = 2.061" COC Guide = 32.2 lbs. COC Sport = 40.6 lbs. Note: I've calibrated grippers before but not with my own RGC. Previously I've used Eric Millfeld's or helped Eric with the process.

You ought to throw that on the thread that tracks those. Then find one a few pounds harder and go to town on it.

Cannon
My fault, first time with Google docs. Should be published now. Gift2k1
I had found this link a while back. I'm not sure if it's the same exact thing you guys are looking for but its highly comprehensive hopcount.de/ben/gripperrankings.xls It contains macros that you have to enable and don't forget about the other pages along the bottom of the spreadsheet. It has the individual results from each gripper. Who RGC'd it, the date, the result, etc. The "Last Update" date on it is 12/23/10. But still, tons of good data in there. Hope this helps. Cannon
Have you re-rated the same gripper with the same results? 68kg is in line with Manus's published number, but I don't know where those ratings come from. I believe both the grippers RichAZ and I rated were under 140#... If it were quicker than the RGC maybe there would be more merit. But it seems slower I guess. It's innovative though! I like to see this because I don't believe the RGC method will stand the test of time as the "best" way. Can you possibly cross-rate some grippers with Matti?
