Too Tall Posted October 25, 2007 Author Share Posted October 25, 2007 I have been thinking about the events...and I want a good group to come out...so I am going to try and even things up a bit Events: Grippers - MM set and close - strong hand DO Bending - biggest bar - 5 minute time limit (Fat Bastard Rules) OHDL - using a 1" non-revolving handle(it will be attached to the RT loading pin) 3 attempts max wt.(strong hand) Heavy Medley - like I said earlier in this thread and described objects. 2" FBBC V Bar - 3 attempts max wt. (strong hand) Apollons Axel for reps - (90 sec.) (most reps win) (will be 300#'s) This should even things up a bit...and make for a hard challenge for all!!! Maybe I'll be good for 3 reps with that much by then. I have a friend in B'ham who has offered to make me a thickbar by welding some pipe that is ~2 and 3/4" inches to 2" pipe on each end for the plates, guess I'll be using that a lot. I read somewhere in this thread it would be the 1st week in April so that would make the first saturday the 5th of April, this is probably obvious to everyone but me(as usual) but is this the date you had in mind Chad?
