I have tons of room at my house and a lot of grip equipment to put on a cool contest. Anyone interested in coming to GA?

Thanks,

Chad Woodall

There will be prize $$$ for the top 5 hopefully and trophies and goodies from sponsors.

These are some of the events that I am tossing around in my head:

Grippers - parallel set

Euro 2HP - max

FBBC 2" V Bar - max

Apollon's axel for reps (DO)

Heavy Medley (I have a lot of cool stuff for this)

Reverse Bending

Whatcha think?

The axle for reps sounds really interesting, how do you pick a weight for that?

It will be somewhat heavy...but doable for some reps and more for others. There will be a time limit also...maybe 75 - 90 seconds or so...to keep things running smoothly.

Very nice events. This makes me thinking of visiting GA again :rock

Olympic bar one hand deadlift would also be a good event.

Im in for sure! Hey Chad, since its on your home turf how about a "Handicap" for you like maybe you only get to use your weak hand on single handed events....... :D Wait a minute, that wont work you don't have a weak hand......

I'll give you a STRONG maybe. I would love to make it out but ultimately it depends on my dad as he'd be driving most of the way. If he competes in Gripmas I don't see a problem, I know he'll want to go. After that it's just having enough warning of a date for the event and we're golden.

So would I, are you anywhere near Savanna? If so then it wouldn't be a problem at all, my parents are VERY into old houses and plantation homes. Savanna, GA is one of those places they've always wanted to visit again.

Don't forget about us small guys! 275 was my max at the BBB, though I'll be stronger for sure in April I doubt there will be a great many 325+ AADler's. You COULD divide that one event into weight classes, like 200+ and 199-.

Ouch, not even close. Well, it's gonna take ALOT of convincing then. I'll have to leave it at a pretty strong maybe for now :( That would be about a 16hr haul from Michigan, alittle bit harder to plan than the 6hr drive to John's. :happy
