Figured out that my shoulder is not injured, just a severely tight pec minor and short-head bicep I partially tore last year. Once I get it worked out, should be back in action.

Good news about the shoulder!

Tight pec minor is what Eric said was causing my issues a while back. What do you think you'll do to work on that? I know you still probably do the "shoulder dislocates" with a stick or band. Doing them with a heavy band is what worked for me, but I had to find the right "spot".

Thanks, Kel. I've been getting some deep tissue done to try to work it out. I tried the dislocate with a heavier band, I think I see what you're saying.

Glad the shoulder is improving! Was it the ART on the pec minor that's made the difference?

Scar tissue in your shoulders, or everywhere?

I've never had deep tissue massage. Seems like Eric would dig in this thumb/thumbnail right onto a tendon, then move my arm through a range of motion, forcing the tendon to be "scraped" as this happened. I'm guessing they don't do that with a deep tissue massage. Do they just dig in real deep, trying to get at the beat up tissue?

Eric's very good at getting in deep on the shoulder. I've had a couple of ART providers but they haven't been able to get in nearly as good as the deep tissue -- the technique you mention is what they utilize. If you find the right person, deep tissue can be a life saver.

The scar tissue is from the torn bicep (armpit) and years of abuse.
