Jeff Parker
may 18 Axle clean and strict press 121x6x2 back is bad, no more cleaning for a couple days Log clean and push press 160x1 170x1 180x1 190x1PR 195x0 dropped it on my head and then caught it with the log resting on the back of my neck and my arms all bent backward, had to toss it over my head into the grass. i am sure that I can get 200 or more by using the double dip, I will try that next week. Incline log press 160x7x3PR Flat dumbell press 70x7x3 Assesment Axle press: Right now I need to work on my brute shoulder strength. I rely a lot on being able to split press the weight up but after a lot of cleans I dont have the energy to do that. I want to get 8 reps at the contest and I feel that is a realistic goal Log press: I am also looking at a contest july 4th where there will be a 190,210,230,250 log press medly. If I can get the 3rd log in the medly 2 weeks before the contest I will enter it. I think it is realistic. I will see howmuch I can do with the double dip, i am thinking 205-210 right now. Jeff Parker
may 21st Takin a week off of squats, but wanted to do some light just to keep the feel squats 135x12 185x6 Leg press 450x10 500x10 520x8 This on what they call a plate loaded squat press, it moves slightly differently than a regular leg press. It feels more like a squat, but is slightly eaiser to do than the regular leg press. The weights are also just the plates, I dont know how much the sled weighs. Stiff legged deadlifts 135x10 225x10 275x5 295x5 Seated calf raises 135x12 180x10 205x10 Got my inzer briefs in, got a size 17 which is 2 sizes bigger than I am supposed to be and I cant get them on! I must have a huge butt. It goes most of the way up the leg but I tried and tried to get it over my butt and failed. I called them and told them their size chart is off cause something 2 sizes to big shopuld even be slighly loose, and they said the chart is fine. Bullcrap. Now I havr to pay shipping to get another size. They SUCK!
mossman
dude thats horse shit about the breifs.....im sorry you have to pay for shipping, yet again....i had the chance to buy a bench shirt or squat suit, bought lots of chalk instead ....also, thanks for the kind words in my training log
Jeff Parker
I gave my buddy the briefs he ordered and his dont fit either. He is only 185, but he tried on mine that are for someone lioke 250 and they fit pretty tight so he will use that size. Let me know how your ankels doing moss. I know it sucks getting setbacks like that. Right now I am where I wanted to be last summer but because of a 3 month wrist injury and getting sick for 6 weeks and losing 30 pounds really set me back. I had been planning on competing last summer in the middleweights and this summer competing for the first time in heavyweights. Now I will have to be under 231 most of the summer. July 4th there is a comp in fenton that has a log press medly with 6,8,10,12 inch logs and weights of 190, 210, 230, 250. Also has a 500 pound conans, 225 farmers, stones and I think 600 tire flip. Sounds pretty cool, I will compete in that as long as I stay injury free through this comp.

Jeff Parker
June 13th Atlas stone loading to 48" used my new 225 stone 225x2 225x2 225x2 Got the 3rd one lapped and hit the front of the platform 225x2 same thing definatly would have gone up in a contest with someone bracing the loading area My new stone is very rough, got my arms to ribbons, I think I need to use something like concrete sealer on it? Not sure but I will come up with something after the contest. Also, I am getting the computer with all my pics on it hooked up to the internet, so I will have a gallery soon with some pics from home and the contest. I will do a workout at the gym tomorow that is very easy and hits my whole body. I will also do running today, tuesday and wednesday, and some long walking on thursday, maybe 5 miles, and just a mile on friday, with saterday being the contest. I AM READY!
