Taking my grip out seems to help with my bench, i feel that i have more control over the weight and my shoulders and pecs do more of the work also.

#1 3x1 (negatives)

The #2 is a beast!!, my hands are sore today from the negatives. It took both hands to close it then i removed one hand and tried to hold it as long as possible. The #1 is starting to feel like a joke.

#8 Sledghammer leverages to nose

3x5 (hand about 8" from end of handle)

The #2 is a beast!!, my hands are sore today from the negatives. It took both hands to close it then i removed one hand and tried to hold it as long as possible. The #1 is starting to feel like a joke.

I always find it amazing to read what people use for negatives. How can you use the #3 for negs? I can't come close to using my #3 for negatives.

I guess whatever it is, I don't got it.

i use the #2 for negatives, i never even tried a #3

Just re-read that, not your fault I totally misread your post. You never said #3 for negatives at all. I must be going blind.

The #1 is getting easier bythe day. my right hand is stronger than my left i am trying to develop them equally. I sometimes leave a tiny little gap when i close the#1 but it is diasappearing, I am definately stronger on the #1 than i was a month ago. Left side gave me a routine that i am followng and it is definatley helping with the empahasis on pinch gripping. also getting a # 2 makes the #1 feel not so tough after all.
