burkhardmacht
Stick some beers in the fridge Burkhard - the British are coming! A few beers should be no problem! I hope we all can go out to a pub after the comp to celebrate some grip brotherhood! At the Euros 2006 most guys were too tired to drink a beer! I remember eating a pizza with Flo and Martin R. afterwards - the latter has fallen asleep before finishing his meal - that was crazy but no surprise after his very long trip to Bochum. I'm really looking forward to August, bros! :rock Edited June 19, 2008 by Burkhard Macht

mobsterone
The only lift I am worried about is the d/o thick bar deadlift. Hand strength is no issue - I've tested myself before my back problems with partials up to close to 200 and in the past have been to 300 and 350kg - using mixed grip. However, right now 150 or a little under would knacker my back good and proper. I am either going to take a token opener of say 100-kilos or something silly or go as high as I dare just to play the percentages. I'm not training it one bit until my back feels a lot better so that might mean not at all before the event. All my other lifts I am not worried about. I know I can do well on the grippers, I am sure I will win the rolling thunder, from what you said Pinch is mine also. Chris, if he comes, will be a danger on the one hand deadlift for sure but my numbers are good and I can brace myself with the free hand. Chris and others will probably kick my ass on the thick bar d/o deadlift. I've tried seeing if I could find some numbers for the other lifters but from the little I know I should place very well. burkhardmacht
Today I prepared the pinch set up - still some chalk dust in the dungeon... The thickness of the set up You can choose is like the standard - from 12-64mm!

moser1972
One idea: Send Andreas Hadel an email or call him. He is one of the owner of "Power on TV". Maybe he agrees and he will send a team over. Good luck. ~ T
