allrounder74
Great job, Bill---- and with only a 7 5/8" hand!
Clay Edgin
Nice work Bill. When will you consider yourself no longer a "grip punk"? haha
Vice
My pinch was ZAPPED for about two weeks thanks to the Powerball (especially in one area of my hand that Rick addresses in KTA the Blob). In the end, this little puppy filled in a last gap in strength for me that I believe helped me lift the blob. So the powerball really does make you stronger? I've been skeptical... EricMilfeld
Congratulations Bill! If you're a punk, then I am definitely one. But punks can go far with determination!

FrankyBoy
Awesome Bill! 7 5/8" ? I always thought my hands are a little to small for lifting THE BLOB. Thanks for having disproved that thesis.

Bill Piche
Awesome Bill! 7 5/8" ? I always thought my hands are a little to small for lifting THE BLOB. Thanks for having disproved that thesis. There's a picture in my gallery with my hand measurement. My belief is anyone who can close a #3 can do it provided they don't have really small hands. And, even then, they still may be able to with much stronger hands than #3 closing power.
Lyle
Bill are you able to close the 3 and lift the blob now or did your gripper strenght suffer any?
ianders1
Great job Bill!!! You sure make it look easy :rock This will have to be the reference for all the "my hands are too small" posts Also, that thumb clamp is just ridiculous! You'll have to count how many rubber bands that is one of these days!
Jedd Johnson
Great job Bill. Your thumb is barely on there! Great accomplishment, bro. -Jedd-
Bill Piche
Bill are you able to close the 3 and lift the blob now or did your gripper strenght suffer any? My gripper strength suffered greatly. But, I am almost cold turkey on grippers right now. I just tried to maintain some strength by working up to a single with a hard #3 (cut) -- never closed and one #4 smooth out negative. This was done a couple times a week just to try and maintain some gripper strength. Wide pinching or pinching in general always KILLS my close. The last 1/8". That's why I am a grip punk. I can't maintain more than one feat at a time without peaking for one or the other. So, to answer Clay, that's why I am and always will be a grip punk. You sure make it look easy :rock This will have to be the reference for all the "my hands are too small" posts Also, that thumb clamp is just ridiculous! You'll have to count how many rubber bands that is one of these days! My wife looks at the clamp and makes her typical comment about my training: What a Freak... She uses "freak" in the "weirdo" context though. It's a great way to continually add resistance to a clamp every day.
OldGuy
Good to see another clamp covered with rubber bands!
Lyle
ah for the day when you become an advanced punk and maintain both,,,,from what I know and read, you'll get both
tspinillo
Bill, Great lift! Have you weighed that blob? Is it over 50lbs? T!

Bill Piche
Good to see another clamp covered with rubber bands! Yep, I think OldGuy first posted about his rubber band kick with the clamp. I just followed suit!
Lyle
Bill , I saw the clamp "well the handles anyway" do you pinch that to 'til the handles touch?
king crusher
yeah how does that rubber band thing work? and cuz i dont have a blob would i get a decent workout or idea of what i can do by just using double the weight with 2 hands(an unbroken dumbell)
ishred
great work man. Although i'd hate to disagree with you on the hand size theory. Your thumb barely made it on the blob, i can't get my hand on a 35lb hex...i doubt the blob. My hands measure just under 7". Now you can work on tossing the blob around and cleaning it

maidenfan
Nice job. We need to make a new standard now - like the Blob55 or Blob60!
