Guest gripmaster316
Franky... no to the first question, a possible yes to the second. Yesterdays sledge training (8 lb. hammer) sledge rotations with right: 20 (hand about 20% down the handle) sledge rotations with left: 15 (hand about 20% down the handle) front lever with right: 10 reps (hand about 40% down the handle) front lever with left: 10 reps (hand about 50% down the handle) rear lever (weaver stick movements) with right: 10 reps (hand about 40% down the handle) rear lever with left: wrist hurt didn't bother with it I am not sure what to call this type of movement but for the journal I will call it parallel front lever (you grab the hammer and angle it until it is parallel with the floor and then lever it.) parallel front lever with right: 10 reps (hand about 50% down the handle) parallel front lever with left: 10 reps (hand about 70% down the handle) that is it for now! Guest gripmaster316
Yesterdays training 40 singles with #2 (all full closes, with both left and right hand) My hands felt weak after. I also tried the RT, I haven't done it in awhile and got 125... now I know why I don't train with this thing. Guest gripmaster316
Today's training: warmup, left and right hand full close with #2 5min. of rest I attempted a parallel set close with the 3 and to my surprise I could not finish the close. I was in shock and from here on I will be incorporating set closes into my trining. Edited May 1, 2004 by gripmaster316
FrankyBoy
Same here. I now include the different setting styles in each workout for a few singles. If I set my #3 at parallel and immediately close it, there's no problem. If I'm taking away the setting hand and hold the parallel set for a moment and start to squeeze then, the gripper starts to twist a bit which makes the close a lot harder. Keep training hard! kyle102887
When you going to start workoing those rotators, how are you ever going to beat me in armwrestling if you don't work those . By the way have you goten a table yet? Also when you do get a table try to set up some kind of armwrestling cable simulator, it will help you out in the long run Nik. Also has working the wrist levering hurt your crush any? Good job on the log Nik and good luck with armwrestling.
Guest gripmaster316
Don't worry Kyle I am working the rotaters, I have not gotten a table, the bar that I am using to lever is not very heavy. When I say 10lbs. I don't mean 10lbs. at the end of the handle. The bar itself weighs about 10lbs. As a result I am not stressing the joints and my crush is not being affected. kyle102887
Does it still tax your wrists if not then why do it, I think the point is to have strong wrists not well trained wrists.
