Doing my best to stick to the plan, still only training right hand for now.

trying to put the time into the lower RGC grippers trying to build up to various sets of 8 reps

todays work:

coc 123 less then parallel for almost 6 reps

standard copper filed 116 parallel set for almost 8 reps

standard gold filed 106 (38mm set) for almost 7 reps

Coc #2.5 RGC 123 parallel set almost 6 reps

Standard Copper RGC 116 filed for parallel set (almost 8reps)

Keeping to the theme and building up the reps in the lower ranges, hit a couple  little PRs which felt great

SG gold filed 106 x8 (38mm set)

SG copper filed 116 x8 (parallel set)

got greedy and tried 9 on the copper but felt great

Next mini goal I will aim for 8 reps on the gold 106 CCS, and 8 reps on the copper 116 with a 25mm set

8 rep PR - Standard Copper filed RGC 116 x8 (deepest) got greedy and tried 9

8 rep PR - Standard Gold filed RGC 106 x8 (38mm set)

SG gold filed RGC 106 (3 sets of 6 ‘38mm set)

SG silver filed RGC 92 (3 sets of 10 ‘38mm set)

Great progress brother. Question, do you only train grippers twice a week? I too am new to the grip sport and am working to Close the CoC #3. I want to close it with a 30mm set first to qualify for the Mash Monster Oppenners but eventually Certify with CoC.

Whats your supplemental work look like currently?

I train grippers 1.5 times a week, I rest 4 days between each session so the day I train changes each week, as I get stronger get I will slowly move towards training grippers once a week, once the work I’m doing is intense enough that that much rest is needed.

i do a lot of accessories eh, i will train with the grippers inverted at the end of each gripper session and  train wrist flexion and extension, finger extension, I train pinch both static and dynamic, I train my thumb additionally detonator style. I do arm wrestling style riser and pronation as well as supination work, and I also do some high rep pinky pad work with a light resistance band to try and get my pinky pad to grow.

Thanks brother. I think we have a similar protocol but my frequency is too high. I may need to cut back to 2x per week specifically for grippers

Hey no worries eh, when I first started (only 4 months ago) I had the same problem, I was training grippers 3-4 times a week (mostly 4) and my CNS would crash pretty bad, I’d have to take a week off (after only 2-3 weeks) but then when I came back I would hit PRs, I reached out to someone and they had me scale back to 2x a week

New grippers just came in, filling some gaps In the collection. Good timing, next session is on Sunday.

will get to work on the 118 right away, will be aiming for sets of 6-8 parallel to finish off my 8 rep block next couple weeks and then I’ll move on to 4-6 rep range

RGC 116 filed x5+ reps 25mm set

RGC 106 filed x4++ reps credit card set

peimary aim is to get a clean 8 reps with the 118 and then I’ll work more on 4-6 rep range, feels like I’ll have it next week

Standard Platinum RGC 118 for 7+ reps parallel

Standard Copper filed RGC 116 x5+ reps 25mm set

Standard Good filed RGC106 x4++ reps credit card set
