How is the bending portion going to be handled? i.e. how will the bars be "ranked"? Or is it more of a friendly bending session? Just curious how it would work with bars of so many different lengths and materials.

Sean Cashman
Wow Nate! This whole thing you've put together looks phenomenal. What a great event this is shaping up to be. Love the fact that you guys will be doing some steel bending. Wish I was closer. EJ, I look forward to hearing about the calibration rig. Is this going to be the unofficial/ official US steel bending championship?
EJ Livesey
@Sean Cashman we will say it's the unofficial/official east coast bending championships lol. This will be a test run on the steel to see if we have an interest in calibrated stuff.

You know...airplanes make people "closer." lol Mark Saturday, July 15, 2017 on your calendar...SJ4 has the potential to overshadow this one. 25 minutes ago, JHenze646 said: Somebody, get lots of video of everything! Yes...please. A number of people have asked what they can do. I'm putting some of them to work...keeping things moving smooth. I'm hoping everyone else will film here and there as you can work it in. As most of you know, I've already compiled a contestant email list. You will be receiving one along with a couple other sheets upon arrival (waiver etc.). Everyone can share vids and pics super easy. Further details will be shared at the contest...but I will not be participating nor judging.

anwnate
SJ3... Adult medley 60 seconds to get 45 items...gonna be a SPRINT! I designed this to cater to several levels of grip prowess. I don't expect to see 0% or 100%...but then again... @wojo is gonna come pretty close. Can't freakin figure out the formatting...so here's a pic dammit . Edit: Looks like I forgot the Stub lift...25lbs.

anwnate
So...the wifey impromptu decides this a.m. that we need to provide some form of Breakfast on Contest day. Actually...she basically attacked me for being inconsiderate. She does have a point though. I'm having the day start at 9am...and a number of you are coming from 2+ hours away. Soooooo...for those of you who don't end up grabbing a Sizzli at Wawa... That is all. (Tomorrow I'll see if I can go a day without a contest update. )
