Try his idea before mine.  If you go the 12 pack method, you're pretty much done for the day after your heavy single.

I’m well versed on the virtues and pitfalls of the 12-pack method. 😆

Great for singles.

Really... really... really bad for high reps.  At least that's what the big boys at school told me.

Squat

147.5x20 PR!

Felt good to PR by 10 pounds on a squat or deadlift after injury, loss of 10 pounds body weight, and two months of poor workouts. This was not my best PR in terms of projected max, but I’m thrilled to take it. I’ve been stuffing my fat face the last three days...

That was my best projected max set... ever! And I’m lighter this time around, by five pounds.  As long as my shoulders stay healthy, twice a week seems to be the ticket for me. And beer. And ice cream.  And  whole milk.  And eggs. And salmon.  And fajita steak at Adam’s! Superstition for future wins for the win! 😀

I've always had the same problem filming bench.  Unused bedrooms and now a small shed.  I feel that angle is just my way of giving a little extra entertainment to the world.  😂🤣
